It's with a sad heart that I'm writing negatively about Dr. Allen. She is a very nice person and I really felt comfortable with her. I found Dr. Allen on Instagram and I was really attracted by the pictures she posted for her work. So, I had dreamed to have her change my body. I met with Dr. Allen and I discussed with her my problem areas, which were my inner thighs. I told her that I need to get liposuction in my inner thighs because I hate the fact that my thighs always rub together and damage my pants. She suggested to work on my entire thighs including the knee areas, and she promised that I will love the results. I wear a size large so I really have a lot of fat that have to be removed to get a real result. So there is no way to change my size in one procedure. But I trusted Dr. Allen and I was so excited to see the results she had promised. I had my surgery on May 5th 2016, and I am still wearing the same pants I used to wear. I measured myself before surgery and to be honest I did notice a change in one area only (around my underwear only). I'm so upset because I wasted my money and the surgery was so painful. I could not walk for 3 months after the surgery and I still have slight pain. I've had liposuction surgery before with other doctors and I never had pain like the pain I'm experiencing now. It's been 5 months now since I had my surgery and I still have pain. The pain I am experiencing now isn't as intense as the pain that was right after the surgery. I had constant pain for 3 months after the surgery. I was so swollen and I couldn't even wear my own clothes for 3 months. The pain I have now is different, It comes suddenly and is very sharp and painful. It is only in the areas I had my surgery. I went to Dr. Allen 3 months after my surgery and I told her that I wasn't happy with the results because I didn't see a difference in the areas I paid for. She suggested exercise, which I think I could chose this option before deciding to spend my money in liposuction if I wanted. I really don't want to go through this painful surgery again but since I already paid for it I wanted to get what I paid for, especially since her prices are very high. After she agreed to re do the areas that I didn't see any result in, I was surprised that she wanted me to pay a full amount again for something I already paid with no result!
I feel bad to write a negative review, but this experience ruined my life and I think I have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went back and forth on leaving this review because I hate leaving bad reviews, but I had such a poor experience that I feel I need to share. I got Botox for my TMJ pain and shared with her that 25 units for each side worked great in the past. I assumed she would do something similar, but after the injecting she said she did 40 units on one side and 10 on the other because of unequal muscle build up. I was worried but she explained it enough that I just tried to trust her. Two weeks later I looked at a photo of myself and realized my smile was weird. I ran to the bathroom and to my horror, my smile was completely lopsided and it looked like I had a stroke when I smiled. I messaged Portica and she called me and was apologetic. She tried to make up for it by offering $100 credit for future Botox or skin care. I obviously was not going to go back to her office and she ended up just offering me $100 back. The full treatment was $500. She said my smile should improve in a couple weeks so I crossed my fingers that this was right and accepted the $100 refund because it was better than nothing. However, here I am 3 months later and my smile still isnāt normal. I have been so insecure for 3 months and avoid photos. Im insecure about even smiling while talking to people. Iām so mad I spent $500 ($400 after the partial refund) to have a botched smile and my confidence shattered for months. Itās awful and I want to warn others about getting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI couldnāt speak highly enough about Dr. Allen and the care she has provided for me over the last decade of my life. I started seeing her when I was about 30 to get some Botox here and there to soften lines every 6 months or so.. that relationship turned into a major āglow upā for me lol. For the last 5 years, I wanted to experiment with some filler in my lips and different parts of my face and her specific attention to detail creates a result that is natural and soft. I feel like I have never had that āfakeā look and I really appreciate that. Not only does she take your concerns and questions to heart, she is one of the most kind and genuine people I have met since living in Utah. She remembers personal things in my life and asks about them each time I see her. I love my relationship with Dr. Allen and the care she provides. Aging isnāt the easiest thing for women to deal with especially from all the society pressures.. but I feel Iām able to move through the process a lot easier due to her skill level. Iāll continue to see her as long as I can and am looking forward to having more things done by her...
