Read moreWhen you go out to a restaurant you expect to relax, enjoy your meal, and have a few drinks. Should be pleasant experience. Last night was by far from being pleasant. There was a wait so we ordered drinks from the front bar. Then decide to head over to the patio. Our waitress, Lay comes to our table and asks for id's from the younger crowd, my son and his friend. So they hand over their license. Lay pulls out her phone using her flashlight, starts rubbing the id's around on the flashlight. I thought that was weird because I've never seen anyone do that before. Then claims that my son's ID is fake and hands them back. I grab my son's license to see why she would think it was fake and she says it feels different. I assure her that his ID is a real license issued by the DPS Office. My son is 23 his license had the issue date of 2019 and expires next year in 2025. She then says she's sorry, she's just doing her job. I tell her that she is mistaken that this is a real license. So she then says, that she will have to run it by the manager. Then brings a cop to our table instead of taking it to the manager like she mentioned. The cop says the ID is fine. So then, she claims we were being rude to her. Next thing we know, we have a new waitress. Lay never came and apologized and just kept passing by giving us ugly looks like we had done something wrong to her. She even rolled her eyes as she was passing by my daughter-in-law in the restroom. I'm Hispanic and my kids are of Hispanic and black. My daughter-in-law is also mixed race. Could she have been racist? Because it sure felt that way. I didn't see her checking anyone else's IDs with flashlights. I just felt like this whole ordeal was handled very unprofessional. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had in my entire life. I feel like an apology would've made things a little better. Instead of making us feel like outcasts. Our new waitress Yhayha was the sweetest person in the world and made our night so much better, but I still couldn't get this experience out of my head. I definitely give...
Read moreIf I could put less I would. This by far has been the worst experience at a twin peaks I have had. I went here yesterday by myself and had a great time enjoyed the food and service from the bartenders. I enjoyed it so much I brought my co-workers back today, however to my disappointment the service was horrendous. We ordered our first beers and I ordered a shot with mine. After that there was a while before the waitress came back around long enough I had finished my beer, when she did come back around she had asked if we were ready to order which I had replied we were struggling to decide and asked for a second beer which I was told at that time I would need to wait or I would be cut off. With this said I acknowledged and ordered the billionaire bacon. From there the service went down hill the manager seemed to check in on us frequently after that which from working in the bar industry seemed more as checking on our sobriety. Which was fine none of us were loud or rude which is what was the most annoying part. The staff seemed more interested in hiding then serving the customers. And before anyone says maybe they were busy there was basically no one in the restaurant at this point and when we were told about being cut off we hadn't been there more than 40mins and it was still our first round. I feel our waitress singled us out and had an issue with us right off the bat. I don't normally leave bad reviews but when it's bad it needs to be mentioned bit with mentioning the bad I will also say that the two bartenders I had last night were amazing and they did very well even when they were really busy. Sad to see the service at this location I travel for a living and eat and drink in restaurants all across the US, this is the first time I have ever been cut off after the first 2 drinks or threatened...
