jolt! — Local services in San Anselmo

I've been going to jolt! since they opened in San Anselmo. I haven't popped by the Novato store yet, but I will. It's SO nice to find a place with affordable gifts, baby items, and a few racks of women's clothing, and such a friendly owner and staff. Carol is one of the kindest people I know. Last month, my 93-year-old mother and I were in the store and my mom fainted (I first thought it was a mini-stroke). They quickly called 911 and stayed with us, as did a helpful customer. Then, five paramedics came in with a gurney (filling the store), and did all they needed to do before taking us to the hospital. Mom is okay now (but did have a moderate stroke on Christmas Day a few days later), but the bottom line - Carol was so gracious, helpful and kind during this unexpected situation.
