Our experience with Dr. Kessner was fantastic. He seems very knowledgeable and takes plenty of time to listen to you and make sure you are comfortable with his recommendations. When we arrived, he was just finishing up with another patient. He gave them trials of two different types of contact lenses to see which they thought were most comfortable before committing to one. He told them that when they had decided which they wanted to go with, they could just call the office, and the staff would set up the prescription. I liked that he worked with the patient to make sure they were happy with what they ended up getting. Two of us walked in and we were both able to get exams without a wait. He wasn't happy with the prescription my boyfriend had previously been wearing, but my boyfriend was apprehensive to make a significant change. Dr. Kessner worked with us to let my boyfriend try out the new prescription he thought would be best for his vision, but also provided a compromise that we could go back to if my boyfriend didn't like it. He told us if there was anything at all that we felt wasn't quite right afterward or that was causing us any issues, to come right back to him and he would fix us right up. My eye exam was quick and simple, but we did adjust my prescription and I was out of there seeing so sharp and clear I felt like I had developed super powers. The office staff were polite, kind, and helpful. I was incredibly impressed with the entire visit. I highly recommend this office...

This is the only optometrist I will go to. Dr. Kessner is excellent! He truly goes above and beyond. His attention to detail is stellar and it is comforting. He even told me the cheapest places to get contacts and glasses.

I've used him in an emergency situation (well, I thought it was an emergency...it wasn't), but he had me come in immediately...no appointment....he made the time for me.

His staff is excellent and knowledgeable. He is an honorable person, running a fair business and it shows.

Update 12/07/2027:

Dr. Kessner keeps perfecting his craft more and more. Since going to him I have had the best eye prescription. I see better. I have zero eye fatigue. I never realized how 'lazy' some optometrists can be in an effort to move quantity over quality.

I have always had an issue finding good comtacts that fit and feel well, especially for my eye with an astigmatism. He works so diligently, asks all the right questions, and always lets me try different brands of lenses, as free trials! Thanks to him I have finally found contact lenses that I enjoy wearing.

His front desk associate is efficient, personable and kind. I never feel like I'm in a production line.

This is your community optometrist. Support him, please. With or without insurance you will get the most for your money here with Dr. Kessner...

Wow, Great experience! They had my insurance and copay information ready before I even got to the appointment. The office was very neat and clean. The woman at the front desk was great. I sat for just a few minutes after entering, then away we went. The woman tested me and asked questions very efficiently and well. She really knew her stuff. I saw the doctor soon after. When he measured my vision, he said there was some change and showed me how it compared against my glasses to make sure I was satisfied with the change. I really liked that! During the rest of the exam, he explained what he was doing and why. The doctor and staff made this a very pleasant and comfortable experience. I’m definitely going back next year and will recommend this eye doctor...
