Starbucks — Restaurant in San Antonio

So Starbucks has been bombarding me for months about Happy Hour! Happy Hour! So I’m free today and came here to this location to get one of their new drinks and utilize Starbucks much promoted happy hour. I made it clear that I this is what I was looking for when I ordered a drink and a bakery item. The price seemed high with the supposed happy hour so I asked again about it and she said it doesn’t apply to bakery items??? I was like ok so I paid. Then when I looked thru the receipt I saw no happy hour price applied to my drink so when I asked for clarification my cashier goes on to tell me I have to order two drinks to utilize a coupon to get a second drink free... um... that’s a weird happy hour but ok. So I asked if could then just grab the second drink since I paid for mine already- the answer was no. I have to do it all in one transaction.

So no clarification on what the f Starbucks thinks happy hour stands for. No offer or apology for the confusion and no attempt to correct the misunderstanding. And since I saw the manager look put off by the customer in front of me asking the same question and that she had to explain this to them and couldn’t give a flying f if they were happy or not made up my mind not to involve the manager in this. So f this Starbucks. There’s three others in the area that should get your business over this one. And Starbucks- what a $h!!y the promotion and congratulations on the fail of communicating said promotion. I think I’m done with Starbucks. At the very least this suck location.

And to top it off the drink sucked....

We go to Starbucks at least once a week. I understand. There is a supply issue. But it in the fall and winter it was a hit or miss with our favorite drink, it was the apple flavored with almond milk. It is our favorite and there was a lot of times they didn’t have any on hand. and now we’re running into the same issue with the pistachio latte. I like drinking coffee and anything that is flavored coffee but the main ingredient should be coffee. I don’t want it to be a dessert. I want to taste my coffee. And pistachio is one of the few that actually taste more coffee than the flavoring. Which I really do appreciate. But when you’re out of it, I have to adjust to something else and asked him not to make it to Sweet and put it in an extra...

For some reason, the last few weeks this location seems to not care about the quality of their drinks. I have gone twice to get a caramel ribbon crunch frapp and have both times verified that they have the dark caramel used for the drink. Both times they have used the original caramel. It's a small request but makes a big difference in the flavor. Not only that but I ask for no whip on the bottom of the drink and extra crunch topping. Again when I get to the window I have to ask for extra topping as they put little to none at all. To top it off I still get the whip on the bottom, it's as if they see the ticket and completely disregard it. As a former starbucks employee this location is not the standard starbucks...
