I decided to sell us minted 1 oz 'walking Liberty coin over a week ago. I called and stopped by quite a few gold dealers. I was surprised how many said they would have to see the coin to determine how much it was worth.

I was pleased today when several gold dealers told actually told me what percentage of the spot market they would pay. Sam offered the best price so I called him back and told him I was on my wa I made courtesy calls to the other vendorslp you All the other vendors tried to get me to reveal the winning bidder and their price. One vendor increased their price but steel fell short. Getting the best price was nice. When I walked in with a couple of pieces for Sam to assess, he was very clear and concise with the selling process. I asked a couple of other questions, and he answered them without hesitation. With some of the silver pieces I had, he stated that it would be better if I just kept them, because they would be better as a jewelry set. After he shared his offer, I told him that I was going to get one more quote, and he reassured me that his offer would not change if I came back.

I went to another Business to get the same pieces assessed, and was offered 3/4 of what Sam was offering.

When I came back in and decided to sell, True to his word, the offer was still the same.
