Another great meal from cool ppls

7/30 came in for a Sunday $5 dog and still left with the burger of the week, The Loco Moco. I couldn't resist the temptation.

8/12/23 Tried the Brat for lunch. It was soo interesting and good. Just hate that I ate it in a rush in front of a customers home that ended up canceling šŸ˜† šŸ˜”. Wish I had sat there and enjoyed it at the restaurant instead. But even in a rush, I was intrigued by the flavors. The only bummer was that the regular tots aren't the same after having tried them loaded before recently.

8/25/23 Came back with my girlfriend and tried the burger of the week, Sealed with a Swiss. And tried the loaded tots Guisada Style. Everything was sooo good! My girl had the impossible burger w curly fries. It's nice being able to eat somewhere together and not have to question our meals because of her allergies. Thank you! Keep up the great work.

9/22/23 In my opinion, the Green Eggs & Ham Burger has been the best burger of the week so far since I've began visiting šŸ”„ Another great lunch this afternoon.

10/7/23 I'm soooo mad 😠 the Green Eggs and Ham Burger was the best I've ever had ... Until today! I dropped by to catch TOTally Loaded before it was gone, and it is now the best burger I've had. I stand by it, TOTally worth it :) I won't forget you, though, Green Eggs and Ham Burger šŸ˜‰

10/19/23 Dropped by to try the Lucky Luigi and the Vegan Hitman. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and for myself, the Lucky Luigi was one of the best burgers next to Green Eggs. :)

11\1\23 Came in to try the Munster Mash, and it didn't disappoint. Now there's a couple of times where I've said this burger was better than that burger. This burger was great on its own šŸ”„ Shouts out to Kelly, who we previously met before when working the register and was cooking this time, for remembering my girls' allergy and walking over to double-check on the sauces served in her Impossible Burger. Thank you for looking out. I really appreciated it.

11\26\23 I tried the Wake N Bake annd it was interesting ive never had anything like it or would would imagine this combination haha I liked it though. I tried taking pics, but they due no justice versus the taste. It's something youll need to wake to try and experience.

1/17/25 dropped by for a half order of Elote tots. Work, Of, Art. I almost didn't want to eat it. It...

We came for burger week but will be back for the hotdogs. Don’t get me wrong the Pop it Like It’s Hot burger was good and just the right amount of spicy. The bun was nicely grilled, the patty juice, the toppings fresh. But something about the hotdog was just exceptional. Maybe it’s because a good gormet hotdog is hard to find. Maybe because all of the ingredients were handcrafted to marry well together into a deliciously indulgent dog. We had the weekly special which was like a poblano pepper popper enveloped the most perfect hotdog you’ve ever imagined. The tater tots were also excellent; the perfect amount of crispy but steaming hot and fluffy on the inside topped with the perfect amount of seasoning. My husband said they were ā€œgormetā€ tater tots… so I guess this is now the bar for tater tots for us. I also got fried pickles which were almost perfect. Almost because while the pickle was crisp, crunchy, and so sour it made my cheeks pucker, the breading could have used more crisping. To top it all off, my husband tried a new (to us) sour beer which is maybe the only beer I’ve ever tried and actually liked, and I had a cucumber, watermelon, chamoy frozen margarita (per recommendation of the host) which was also now our bar for frozen margs. They also had SEVERAL vegetarian and vegan options (almost their entire menu they could make vegetarian) which is always nice to see, but especially in a rather meat-centric (or so we thought) type of place. If you couldn’t tell… we liked this place a lot. If you’re still reading this and deciding whether or not to go… consider this your sign to JUST. DO. IT. You...

This was a case of a clean place with a friendly and knowledgeable FOH person. It made me super hopeful for a good meal.

Unfortunately, it simply wasn't. My burger of the week was so dry I took it off the bun and tried to eat just the patty with my fork... Which broke. I got another fork, and that broke too.

Please understand, I'm not an aggressive eater or someone to make things out to be worse than they are. I was genuinely trying to cut my burger with a fork and it was so dry I broke two forks.

And the patty was just thin, dry, and bland.

The fries were the best part of my meal but they weren't exactly good. Just better than my $14 single, thin patty burger. It wasn't smash burger thin, but not a $14 burger, either.

My partner's dog was way too much bun for the size of the dog. It and the bun was dry and charred tasting. As he said at the time, "there is no meat in my bun." Overall, he was disappointed in the dog. Since it's a hotdog place, I didn't expect a great burger, but the dog should have been outstanding for the price.

Silver lining: I now know where not to get a...
