This place is amazing! Story time: so I work at HEB as a curbside/shopper, we have a very big heavy sliding door that we are constantly opening for the cold grocery items. Well I banged my hand with my engagement/wedding ring on it and my main stone in my engagement piece was rattling and I was fearful it was going to fall out. So I went to google for Jewelers in the San Antonio area that fixed rings. Sure enough Shelter Fine Jewelry was the first to pop up. I sent a message to them asking if they could tighten my ring down for me and how much it would cost. Courtney replied quickly and provided me with all the info I needed to bring my ring in for service. They made it all so easy and I felt comfortable leaving my precious ring with them. Took about a week or so for the Jeweler to fix and clean it up for me. Unfortunately I don’t know what happened to the email they sent letting me know my ring was ready for pickup (maybe went to spam and got deleted?) It did not matter though, I called literally a month after I dropped it off and my ring was still there, safe, and ready for pick up! I absolutely cannot stress how much I appreciate the work the Jeweler did on my ring, looked brand new and sparkled like on the day of my wedding. I am very grateful and hopefully one day my husband can take me in for a anniversary piece, they have stunning Jewelry! Very happy with my experience and I absolutely recommend...

I was shopping for a anniversary gift for my wife at the Pearl when I ran into a friend. We visited for awhile and he asked what I was shopping for and I explained my situation. He recommended that I go to Shetler Fine Jewelers. I thought I knew most of the unique gift and jewelry stores in San Antonio but had not heard of Shetlers, so I googled location and I was off. It is in an almost hidden location in a bank building and was somewhat hard to find. I was so glad I found it.

I walked in and was greeted by Robin. So nice to have someone introduce themselves and visit with you before even talking about selling you something. I told her that I was looking for an anniversary’s gift for my wife and she went to work on selecting different pieces at different price ranges and from dressy to more casual. I found what I thought my wife would like best and got it for her. She was very, very happy with the necklace and I was thrilled to have found a place that still prides itself on customer service. From the quality of the jewelry, to the no pressure sell, the offer of a beverage while I shopped and two small bottles of champagne to help us celebrate our anniversary, it was truly a great experience that I wanted to share so others could try it as well. I came in on a tight deadline with a very specific vision: an oval center with side ovals in platinum. Britney treated it like a mission. She answered texts fast, sent clear photos/videos, helped with the financing, and kept me updated without any pressure—just straight answers and great taste.

The ring itself… unreal. I had the option to choose a center with six paired matched G/VS side ovals. The sparkle and finger coverage are next level, and the craftsmanship is obvious the second you see it in person.

Update: I proposed to my now‑fiancée at the Colosseum in Rome. Walking through Rome and Florence, I lost count of how many times people’s eyes went to the ring and then to her. She’s something special, so that felt exactly right. Even our tour guide told us she couldn’t stop looking at it.
