Not the fanciest place but the food is great! It’s a small obscure place you would miss if you were driving down Austin Hwy and maybe see it if you got stopped by a light. That’s what happened to me. It was lunch time and I saw a bunch of cars pulling off the side of the road when the light was red and had no idea where they were going to. They are quick and have really good lunch deals! Lunch deals consist of a few plates to chose from plus tea for $5.99 on the week day and $7.99 weekend. These are NOT small plates and you definitely can’t get a meal for that price most places. This place crushes Tex-Mex.
Even with six other Mexican restaurants a stone's throw away from here, none of them can match this place.
Granted, some food items are better than others (their beef items are hit or miss), but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better Huevos a la Mexicana in town, or a better Caldo de Pollo in the world. I don't know what they do to that broth, but it is insanely good. Not only is it good, it's not repeatable - had it at the other locations, but this is the only place where I can go back time and again and be amazed.
I highly recommend this place. The service is great, and two people can eat there for either breakfast or lunch and get out of there for under $10.

Sunday 4/15/2018 My Daughter and I went to eat lunch...And Although We love the food..We Did not Appreciate the Creepy Crawling Critters aka The Roaches coming out of the cracks of wood...We sat at the booth by the door,and as We sat and ate My Daughter noticed The Roaches peeking out...Needless to say We informed them and Thought Maybe,Just Maybe did would try and take care of Our ticket and or a substantial discount....What to Our Surprise not at all The $2.00 discount but The Fact That He "The Manager" didn't even seemed bothered by that at all...But However looked very angry him and his staff....Lol well Guess We will never be back there again...And Pray no...
