I had an exceptional experience at B-Chic Fashions, especially after a disappointing visit to another dress store. Prior to my visit, I called the store and spoke with Andree, who was immediately warm, kind, and genuine. Her sincerity came across clearly over the phone, and she made me feel able and confident enough to make the trip to the store the following day.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was. Andree greeted me with open arms, even offering me a hug. I was even more surprised that the plus-size selection was prominently displayed at the front of the store, contrary to my previous experience in other shops where I was often led to the back. Andree took the time to carefully select several gowns she thought would suit me, including designs from Tarik Ediz, a designer I had been eyeing. Although the gowns were beautiful, I did not immediately feel like any of them were "the one."

Andree's professionalism shone through when she asked me to share some specific styles I had previously screenshot. She quickly reviewed the options, offering helpful insights about which gowns would be most flattering based on my preferences. I appreciated that she wasn't just trying to sell me any dress, but was genuinely focused on helping me find the right fit.

After much consideration, I showed her a gown I had initially loved but was unsure about the cut. Andree immediately checked its availability, and after confirming it could be ordered, she took the time to explain how the design would complement my body type. Her expertise and guidance gave me the confidence to place the order for my dream dress.

Six weeks later, I received a call informing me that my gown had arrived. Though I live three hours away, I happily made the journey back to the store, and even though Andree wasn't there, Agatha and Jennifer provided the same level of warmth and professionalism. Upon seeing the gown for the first time in person, I was overwhelmed with joy. The dress was even more stunning than I had imagined, and it fit perfectly without the need for any alterations.

Agatha and Jennifer went above and beyond, even suggesting that the bra I was wearing could be sewn into the gown for a better fit, which was incredibly helpful given the gown's cut. I truly didn't want to take the dress off, and the entire experience was made even more special by the kindness and patience of the staff.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Andree, Agatha, and Jennifer for making this experience so memorable. B-Chic Fashions has earned my trust, and I will be returning for any future events. To everyone that only ordered online and never set foot in this store: Yes, this is a REAL store in the California Bay area. I searched EVERYWHERE for a dress and found B Chic's online store. I was fed up with online ordering from other websites because of the awkward sizing and wanted to actually try on a dress before buying it. I literally flew from Texas to California just to visit this store. I'm genuinely glad I did. I loved the Iyza Belaar designs and initially went for the Misha dress. They didn't have my size there. They told me they would order it for me, but i didn't want to risk awkward sizing. So I tried their Nabilah dress. This Nabilah dress size comes up super small, like several sizes too small. I normally wear a size 12, maybe a 10, sometimes, but I had to buy a size 18 for this Nabilah dress. I'm genuinely glad I came by to try dresses on. They have so many dress options and even custom make dresses from scratch. I asked them to tailor the dress and have it ready by the next day... AND THEY DID! I flew back to Texas with my dress in my arms.

I will say, though, that the colors shown online are a bit brighter than what you'll see in person. If you took your pictures in natural light and some extra artificial light, the colors do show up like how it is online.

It was prom season and my daughter waited too long to order a dress online and Nordstrom and Macy's selection was disappointing. B Chic was recommended as the go-to local dress shop. They were packed, but let us in anyway to browse the dresses. They pulled several dresses they thought would look good on my daughter, their customer service is amazing! We purchased a gorgeous dress that day, there were so many choices! Then WE made a big mistake. We left with the dress to get it altered at a different location. That turned into a horrible mistake. After a clear request to hem the dress and keep only a little of the train in the back, the tailor hemmed the dress too short. It was awful. We left the tailor with the material that was removed and went back to B Chic where they handed the dress to Jenny, their on-site seamstress. Jenny saved the dress! Somehow, she managed to reattach the train and hem it properly at the correct length.
