I’ve been getting Thai massages for over 30 years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I came in to feel better and get help for my back pain—and I walked out feeling worse.
I signed up for a Thai massage. What I got was oil, someone walking on my upper and mid-back for 45 minutes straight, and no relief whatsoever. I told the therapist several times that my pain was in my lower left back, but she ignored it. The walking started to make my back feel more painful, and I finally had to ask her to stop. Only then did she spend about 10 minutes on the actual area I came in for—and even that was sloppy. She jabbed her elbow into the pelvic bone, not the muscle. She also started late, and kept walking out of the room.
There was no stretching, no real Thai technique, and no therapeutic benefit. I left with a migraine, dizziness, and nausea—and absolutely no improvement in my pain.
And now, they’ve made the whole system worse: • You have to prepay for your massage. • They ask for a tip in advance, before you even receive treatment. • You can’t choose a therapist—just pick a random room number (1–5), which tells you nothing about who’s touching you.
I used to come here often and always left feeling better. The other therapists were skilled and professional. But this was a disaster. The woman in the last room should not be practicing massage.
This wasn’t Thai massage—it was a complete waste of time and money. I’m angry, disappointed, and honestly shocked they allow this kind of treatment...
Read moreMy husband and I have been coming here for years, pretty much since they opened. I was hooked after my first massage when I actually felt stretched out, warm, relaxed, and with nearly zero tension in my body and muscles. (Other places I would leave relaxed but still be in pain. I feel like regular Swedish massage at other places is a waste of money and they just rub oil on you.)
This place is only for those who appreciate deep tissue and sports therapy and maybe even yoga for how they stretch u out. There is no funny business here and they’ve even got a sign posted for respectful, professional boundaries.
Your Thai bed is on the floor and you are divided by three walls that 6 are feet high feet high and fourth wall is a curtain. Bed has a warmer on it which I like. They have a bathroom and always offer us water or ginger tea afterwards which I love!
Reasonably priced too. I highly recommend and have referred my friends here. Everyone should at least try once to see what they’re missing from other regular massage places. I recommend calling since they tend to be busy and not take...
Read moreHands down the best massage place in San Diego. Massage is really high quality and I love being able to book, pay, and tip online. And more than that I love that I can book last minute and there’s still availability.
I always end up getting a combination of Thai and deep tissue with oil and hot stone. Therapist # 1 is one of the best out there - you’ll leave relaxed and refreshed. Therapist # 3 is the best for working on your knots. Especially if you like very firm pressure. She’s amazing. You can customize your massage however you want - areas, pressure, stretching, walking, relaxation, or deep muscle work. I’ve already send some many people here and they loved it too.
**Whoever said the floor pads are not comfortable - somehow I’m the most comfortable on these floor mats and not on a table. They are heated and smell nice. I remember the same set up in Thailand so it’s traditional. I also love that one pillow goes under my boobs and one under my forehead. I relax instantly and there’s no pain from laying flat...
