2 stars is quite unfair for the great staff who work here, but unfortunately, me and my wife (who is almost 9 months pregnant) had a bad experience at this Starbucks: After we enjoyed our order I used my laptop to send emails and share some documents using the establishment's WiFi. While doing it so, I noticed this young man with suspicious appearance sitting next to the sweeteners station, and on several occasions I noticed he was looking at me for no apparent reason. My obvious reaction was of course to be aware of his actions and movements while doing my work. He was taking several pills from diverse bottles (most probably drugs), not to mention he was almost falling down at his spot. Occasionally, he was looking at his mobile. After I finished using my laptop, I closed it and my wife and I proceeded to check our social media on our mobiles. All of the sudden, this individual approached us and asked me for an explanation about why his "Google" wasn't working, I just tried to be polite and reply that I didn't know, that maybe it was an issue with his phone, but then almost immediately he turned very aggressive against us and said "I know what you're doing there, what is this for" (while pointing out to my computer), at this moment I was scared and nervous because I knew he was under drugs effects and I just wanted to keep my wife safe from this man. As soon as he turned back, I asked the staff for help, letting them know that the man was disturbing us because of his wifi connection. The Starbucks girl kindly asked him to stop bothering us, and explained wifi was free and open for all costumers, but he insisted on the wifi and IP problems. Basically, he was blaming me for interfering with the network from my computer. I decided to go right immediately. I told my wife to go first to be sure he wouldn't follow her, then I left the store and the man also stand up and went after me. The girl from Starbucks told him not to get closer, but he just follow me out of the establishment and as soon as I got into my car I just drove away. This happened today June 10, 2017 around 9 pm. I don't have any complain on the place or staff, but I think you should take extra cautious with suspicious people who might damage or cause problems to your...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews however I wanted to for this specific circumstance. I went to another Starbucks this morning and their nitro machine was down however while I was there still ordered a drink and a loaf for my partner. After we left we came to this Starbucks location so that I could get my nitro cold brew and some more food items for breakfast. immediately the partner working drive through while helping us was emotionless and cold. From my perspective as a former partner this goes against what Starbucks is built on. Not only was this partner rude, when I received the food bag I was looking to be sure I had everything and when I was unable to find an item where the partner said it should be it was not there and the partner did not believe me and asked the check the bag herself. The partner found the item at the bottom of the bag and I was like great problem solved however as I was about to leave she said there was a pastry in the bag that was not mine. I did not realize it until I was leaving but that was the pastry I bought at the previous Starbucks location previous to this one. I am unsure of the partners name however I did note that she was wearing a black coffee master apron. This disappointment me further because partners wearing those aprons have to care and go out of their way to be able able to achieve the title. The pastry isn't a big deal or else I would have gone back however it was just the service and lack of of the use of the LATTE model that we are TRAINED to act upon that...
Read moreI just came in w/ my s/o about 4 hrs ago to get my birthday reward, and the lady at the register was super nice initially but I let her know that for some reason, the app wasn't showing it. I even have my bday in the personal info tab.
My s/o & I are both partners ourselves of several years, and know that sometimes the app can be finicky. When a customer has this issue, we take care of it no matter what and make it right, even if we can't personally get to the bottom of why it occurred.
We scanned my app, and she told me it didn't show so there was nothing they could do about it and immediately moved on to charge me for everything. /: I told her that we were just going to go to our store instead. We were just trying to stall some time to avoid traffic back home and ended up having to deal with a triple inconvenience of having to contact SBUX, driving all the way back to our store instead of going out for my birthday dinner, and feeling pretty frustrated by the response. It seems like the store is less concerned with making moments right than most, especially with an issue as common as app...
