City Lights — Local services in San Diego

I ordered from city light and the item was supposedly on back order with another item, I ordered at the same time I received one but not the other when I called city lights. They told me the item was delivered in January so not knowing how long exactly it would take to deliver I didn’t call till I received one of the items that I ordered and noticing I didn’t receive the other , I received the first item so because it was delivered in January and it’s Four months later, as I received my first item last month, they told me they could not do anything and not refund me any money Back, as it was too late to file any claims for this package and told me that I could have receive the package but someone could have taken it. I still feel I should have been able to receive my refund . I’m out of money that I paid for the item. So if you order from city lights, just please be careful and keep track of your item and make sure it’s not too late when you call them back because you will not get your...

City Lights is fantastic, no matter the time of year. First of all, the size of the store from the front entrance is deceptive...the place is HUGE! Every inch of the store is decorated to the max...no matter what you (or special person) collect, you will find amazing decorations for every special occasion imaginable. There are not enough descriptive words to properly review City Lights. I have not been during crunch times (such as Christmas) which I imagine are packed with shoppers. Instead, I like going during quieter times, during the week, with an employee to show you all the special rooms which typically are not open to explore without a staff person to turn on the lighting, put moving displays in action, and answer questions. I would allow myself plenty of time to "ooh" and "awww" the whole place. I can't think of anyone I know who wouldn't enjoy a trip to City Lights.

I bought. 7.5 ft. Pre lit Baranca tree about 7 yrs Ago. It was over $500.00. The tree has a 25 yr Guarantee and the lights only 3 yrs. The lights Have been going out for several years now, but not That noticeable, however, that changed this year we now have over 9 branches where the Lights don’t work. I have talked to the folks in the tree department and they were somewhat Helpful, and I watched at least 4 u tube videos And purchased a Light Keeper Pro at Home Depot and that worked on a few bulbs but unless you really know electrical, stuff and I do not I was stumped. I asked for the owner of the store to call me , but that was yesterday, I know they are busy this time of year. But when You spend over $500. For a tree I expected to Last longer than 7yrs. What is the point of having A 25 yr warranty if the lights stop working well Before. Just saying...
