Nail Addictionz — Local services in San Diego

I made an appointment for Thursday but I got a call saying they had to reschedule me because the owner wasn't going to be in. Not a problem, I rescheduled to Wednesday at 10:30. The woman on the phone is asking me what I want done (mani/pedi) but I told her I wasn't sure which kind and ASKED if I will have the option to upgrade my service once I get there; she said sure. I arrive on time but Raisa was finishing up with someone else. Cool, it happens. 20 minutes later, she is ready for me. I wanted to upgrade my service but was told no. She kept pushing for me to get my nails done and said "if there is time, I can do your feet." I said no, I was schedule for a mani/pedi. Raisa she was behind and had to squeeze me in (like she was doing me a favor). I reminded her that I arrived on time and had to wait for HER. I said if she didn't have time to give me what I wanted, she shouldn't had scheduled me. It's unprofessional to have a customer WAIT 20 minutes and REFUSE to provide a service. Save your money! Just because you made an appointment doesn't mean you will get service.

Update: One of the owners called to apologized. I love when companies actually CARE about how their customers feel about their service. This serious minded woman takes pride in how her business is viewed and took my concerns...

I’ve been getting my nails done at Nail Addictionz for 3.5 years. My original review is on Yelp. I was new to San Diego but I was also going through a lot from a self esteem perspective and going to a new place was intimidating and I honestly almost cancelled my appointment because I was caught up in not feeling like I was a cute girl because I had piled on the pandemic pounds. Never have I been greeted so warmly and folded into a fun and accepting atmosphere. Raisa did an amazing job on my nails and is one of the few modern nail artists who does builder gel, hand files, nails, and does it quickly. My service was top notch and my nails are extremely healthy. Everyone in the shop is sweet, ridiculously funny, and loving. They remember the littlest details about your life, let my wayward puppy run amok and send me out the door with perfect nails, toes...

Love this place! I drive 45 minutes away just to have Raisa do my nails. I love her attention to detail and her overall vibe. Finding this place has been AMAZING and such a relief after having a bad previous experience with a tech at another salon. I literally always leave happy with my nails!

UPDATE Still love this place!!! Came in to fix a couple of nails for a trip and saw Sue this time and she is SO sweet! Love that I can trust and rely on any of the ladies here....
