Been over a month since I've gone here but had a really unpleasant experience. Went for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. For the manicure, I asked them if they use the soak off method (since I can't stand the drill) for the gelX removal and they said yes, but then did proceeded to drill off the polish. I stopped her and asked again to do soak off, but she said that it wouldn't work and continued using the drill bit. It hurt a lot for me, she kept hitting my skin and pressing too hard, and she filed away so much that my nails were extremely thin and unhealthy afterwards.

The pedicure was also unpleasant. The polish looked chunky. The color was not what I asked for and they rushed me into compromising on a color that they suggested. They kept telling me to do gel on my toes but I've always found regular polish to last forever on my feet. I didn't like that they kept telling me that the nails wouldn't last with regular, even though I've always had great experiences with regular at other salons. I left feeling a bit unhappy with the toes, but it got worse later. I let my nails sit for hours without touching or smudging them and finally went to sleep. The complete next morning, as I put my shoes on, the polish smudges! The polish completely smeared off as if it never dried at all. I did some research and apparently this can happen with cheap polishes or if you loosen polish with acetone. Was so disappointed and when I went back for a fix, they fixed it but blamed me for getting regular polish and not gel. It smudged again the next day and I guess I could have gone back for a fix but I was so unhappy with the service and didn't want to go back...

Apparently, only one person in here knows how to do nail extensions with dip powder. Otherwise expect your nails to be sub par at best. The shape was different on almost all the nails. The tech kept accidentally touching the dip on my nails before it was set so many places of the nails are uneven, with craters 😭 😭 😭 When mentioning it to her she seemed to think it was funny. The set took over an hour (others do mention they are slow) and I walked out completely unsatisfied. Do not go here. The one person who seems to be mentioned in all the positive reviews, Jenny, looks like she is one of the managers and doesn't actually do nail sets if she doesn't need. She sits behind the desk on her phone and allows her tech to struggle with work she clearly doesn't have the skills to do. I did have an appointment and was not just a walk in. They expected me to know the color I wanted immediately upon sitting down without showing me their options and started working on my hands before they even asked what services I wanted. When I stopped them the tech looked at the manager surprised. I guess at that moment, seeing the look on her face, I should have left or requested a different tech. She almost looked scared or nervous. Now I realize she probably knew that was not her strongest skill. The whole experience was really sad. I walked in with high hopes based on reviews and was left with a very bad...

I was extremely disappointed in this shop. I felt rushed to pick my color which was an immediate turn off for me. I was looking forward to a day of relaxation that started with a visit at the nail salon and instead they induced me with much anxiety by having two lady’s stand impatiently over me while I looked at the color choices, while repeatedly asking me what I wanted.

My second complaint is that there were two free roaming cats in the salon. I have an allergy to cats and generally don’t like them around me especially when I’m trying to relax.

Lastly, both me and my mother received French tip manicures and neither was well done. My mother got a gel manicure and I got one with regular polish. They didn’t take the time or care to make sure they did a good or lasting job. My polish chipped fully off of two nails the very next day. And was completely off within 3 days. I’m sure I could’ve reached out to the salon and asked them to fix it but honestly I just didn’t want to go back there.

Update: not only will I not be returning to Pro Nails Lounge and Spa but I will never suggest this established to anyone. As a response to my original review of this business, the staff at Pro Nails Lounge and Spa replied by lying about my experience at their salon. Instead of admitting that they fell short they placed the blame on the customer which is completely disrespectful...

I am not one to leave a negative review but if there’s one thing I don’t like it’s being lied to regarding pricing. I was told that the Dip manicure would be $53 and I ended up being charged $3 more. it’s not the amount, but the principal. Also Dip manicures if done correctly do not require UV lamps! And to add insult to injury she said because she used the UV lamp that they charge three dollars more which she knew I didn’t want to begin with! And she didn’t offer the dip manicure without it. They also only offer one week guarantee versus the usual 2 weeks, and on day 5 they already started cracking off (See picture) so a $56 dip plus tip lasted only five days, what a joke. This may be decent a place to go for gel manicures but definitely not dip manicures. Very disappointing experience. :/ Reply: I never asked for gel anything, just a dip manicure which usually includes just powder/ no gel or UV. I was on a business trip and no I did not alter my nails. Not sure why you bring up cutting my cuticles as I never asked for that. Since there are a couple of chips now, I’m just going to have them redone at my original place (they charge a few dollars more but I get a 10 day guarantee and they last three weeks). But thanks anyhow..

12/10 recommend this nail salon. Jenny is FANTASTIC. Truly. I have never been one to get designs on my nails, I always go for classic french because whenever I experiment with new things, they never turn out good but that has 100% changed since going here and Jenny continues to impress me. I will only be going to her from now on. It's a small, unassuming nail salon, but the quality and service is unmatched. Below are my valentine's day nails (which lasted 5 weeks with no problems) and then the nails I just had done again by her.

I work in the area and was looking for a local place. The staff are very warm and excellent professionals. My nails look great and last! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for your ā€œplaceā€. They even offer water, tea or soda. My pedicure is never rushed and ready for sandles! My only recommendation as it’s an older building, is giving it an inside facelift. Fresh paint, declutter, soft music, perhaps the tv on a different channel more towards customer likes? Thank you and I will definitely be back!
