I am always skeptical about going anywhere to get my hair done. I have very long hair and no matter where I go. They never seem to do it right or the way that I want it. Or they want to chop it halfway off in order to do what I want done. I have to say I am so very happy that I decided to come into the salon today. My daughter already goes here so I thought I would try it myself. My husband said yes go to a professional salon, it doesn’t matter what is going to cost as long as it’s done right. So, I made my appointment and my appointment was with. Ilse T. I cannot say enough about this hairdresser. She made me feel so comfortable the whole time she was cutting my hair. I had told her of my horrible experiences in the last experience I had with someone chopping my hair, so I guess she kept that in mind, and as she was cutting my hair, she was telling me each kind of scissors she was using and what the scissor was for. which I really appreciated. I don’t know what the different scissors are for and the one that she used was actually to help my hair to where it wouldn’t get so tangled when I combed it. I have never been so happy before about my haircut like I was today, she talk to me the whole time she made me feel comfortable. She made me feel like I had been her customer for 10 years. She was the nicest person with such a great smile and attitude that I will continue to go here and she will continue to be my hairdresser. I have already made my next appointment. I came in for a haircut with Scott and explained that I wanted shorter layers. I even showed him a picture of my hair on my phone to clarify.Without responding, he got up, left, came back and said repeatedly, "I'm not doing your hair." He said, "I checked the schedule, and you've no-showed on me before. Do you want to explain why?"

I was surprised and responded, "You want me to remember why I missed an appointment from over a year ago?" He said yes and then added, "Your hair is messy, and I'm not going to do it." The whole time he was smirking and laughing at me.

When I went to speak to the receptionist about the situation, Scott stormed over, yelling, "Why are you talking to her? I already told you, I'm not doing your hair. Your hair is a mess, and you have dreads. I can't even run my fingers through it."

I explained to him that I had just washed my hair, as instructed, and mentioned that I have curly hair, so it's normal for it to be more textured. Despite this, he continued yelling, "Why are you talking to her? This is MY salon, and I refuse to do your hair."

I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life, especially in a customer service setting. Please, AVOID SCOTT at all costs. I do not wish this kind of...

Mid Length Men's Cut Review:

Pros: I have mid length hair, styled long enough to be pulled back into a man bun when it's windy out, but it never goes past my shoulder. I get my haircut with Scott, he's very friendly and understands what I'm asking for each time. Always happy when I leave. $45 for the cut plus tip.

Cons: Scheduling is a hassle. The "Appointments" button on their website doesn't do anything, so you have to call in. Without fail, every time I have called to schedule an appointment in the two years I've been coming here, no one answers the phone on the first attempt. I have to call multiple times throughout the day before someone answers. I called twice today to make an appoint, I guarantee your stylists are losing business because of this.
