Our entire experience was absolutely fantastic, beyond our expectations. Captain Paul and his assistant Debra were the epitome of perfect hosts – knowledgeable, personable, and thoroughly professional. I proposed to my SO and had a very special memorable moment with Captain Paul and Debra. They were there to make everything perfect and capture it all for us. It was my SO's first time being on the sailing yacht, and she was a bit nervous and feeling under the windy weather, but they recognized it and did all they could to make us feel completely comfortable all the time.

The whole process -- starting from the initial discussions about departure times, trip duration, to our preferences for food and drinks, every aspect of our experience was meticulously planned and personalized. The yacht itself was immaculate; even the restroom was sparkling clean. Also, I'd like to point out that the yacht was pretty new and very well taken care of. Everything was clean and shiny, truly felt luxurious for us.

Even before our sailing date, Captain Paul proactively reached out to me to ensure the best weather conditions for capturing the sunset view and smooth sailing. He continuously monitored the weather for us every morning and messaged me daily prior to our special day! I was very touched by his dedication and professionalism. Captain Paul really treats this special moment as if it is his own special moment from beginning to end.

During my propose time, the moment I received her 'yes' behind the San Diego ocean's beutiful sunset, along with the gentle ocean breeze and the sound of waves, was nothing short of romantic, magical, and unique. Captain Paul was standing behind us smiling and taking many beutiful pictures for us. :')

Overall, Captain Paul and Debra were incredibly accommodating, prioritizing our comfort and ensuring a memorable experience. We enjoyed ideal sailing conditions and captured countless breathtaking moments (We also saw many cute animals during our sailing!). We wholeheartedly recommend RivieraSailing and anticipate returning for future anniversaries.

This review is long overdue. I first want to say thank you to Paul and Elaine (sp) for an unbelievable time. My boyfriend and I came out to San Diego for his birthday and we were referred to Sail Riviera for an unforgettable experience. They went above and beyond for our trip! We were worried it was going to be cold on the water in December but it was perfect! The breeze picked up about an hour into our sail (which Paul had encouraged us to sail later for this reason but we had another commitment after). Nonetheless, the hour we didn’t have wind power, he still made it such a blast. We had great conversations, a beautiful charcuterie board with champagne, and he is a stellar photographer- not to mention hilarious. If you don’t make it out for a sail, book him for photography! We celebrated my birthday on a sunset sail with Sail Riviera San Diego a few weeks ago and I could not have asked for a better experience. Captain Paul is awesome, he was very responsive prior to the sail and everything was on time. He is also a very charismatic person that was fun to hang out with during the 3 hours we were on board his sail boat. Everything was perfection. More than enough space for 6 people and we had everything we needed to make the trip enjoyable from snacks to drinks to blankets when it got chilly.
