First things first, I am a real person and this is an honest review of my experiences fishing with Into The Depths Sportfishing! I didn’t know a single one of these men before fishing but I have heard the names whispered amongst the local fishing community. I knew these guys knew how to catch these fish and I wanted apart of the action! I quickly reached out to Donny, who was extremely friendly and transparent with the entire operation. He made sure I was comfortable with the game plan mentioning with these fish easily can move 30-50 miles a day, additional fuel surcharge were discussed if we were to choose to chase these fish. Long story short, we chased these fish west about 90 miles and it didn’t take Kiyan and Wes not 25 mins and we were pulling on 130# Bluefin Tuna. We ended that day with 8 Tuna 130-214#s and I couldn’t wait to share the news with my friend and family, on the ride home I was so excited about what just happened I ended up double booking the boat for later that same week! On the second trip I brought all my buddies along and sure as shit, the same thing happened… long long drive, but 20 mins into the tower and we were pulling on them again!! We killed 10 (Limits) of 130-150# Bluefin Tuna on that trip and I’ll never forget Wes looking down from the tower asking “are you guys good or do you want to kill another one?” I looked around the boat and everyone of my friend was so happy but so tired we decided to call it a day and head to the dock early. Epic Bluefin Tuna Trip with an Incredible Crew! If you're looking for the ultimate bluefin tuna experience out of San Diego, look no further than this charter out of Harbour Island. We went out on a beautifully rigged Yellowfin boat, and from start to finish, everything was top-notch. Captain Weston was absolutely dialed in—professional, calm, and clearly experienced. He knew exactly where to take us, and it didn’t take long before we were on a solid bite. His knowledge of the water and fish behavior was impressive, and it gave us every advantage out there. Deckhands Kiyan and Shayan were total pros. They kept everything running smoothly, were quick to assist with gear and gaffs, and kept the energy high all day long. Whether it was helping us land a big one or just making sure everyone had a great time, they nailed it. We ended the day with a cooler full of bluefin and memories to last a lifetime. The Yellowfin boat was clean, fast, and fully outfitted—definitely one of the nicest I’ve been on. Can’t recommend this crew enough. I’ll 100% be booking with Captain Weston, Kiyan, and Shayan again....
