Serena & Lily Del Mar — Local services in San Diego

(My review is outdated now as my understanding from mailings S&L sends me is that you can walk in and browse in any of their stores without appointment. The fact remains that this experience continues to discourage me from wanting to visit their store) My husband and I, while window shopping in One Paseo at 11am on Saturday, passed by and wanted to take a look at their furniture - we found the door locked but immediately after trying the handle a woman opened the door with clip board in hand and disdainfully asked us if we had an appointment. When we responded in a confused manner that no, we were just passing by she didn’t explain or apologize or anything, just stared at us with a straight face. It was one of the most awkward experiences I’ve had in a long time. I have considered their outdoor furniture for our yard but with customer service like this I will hesitate to buy from them...

AMAZING service and even more beautiful products! We loved working with Dalia B. on our backyard re-design! She was incredibly responsive and always available via phone or email, offered great design advice and was so patient with me as we worked through so many different products to ensure I made the best selection for our desired outcome. Further, leadership starts at the top and we thank Michael for empowering his team to be so user-friendly and customer service-oriented. I continued to go back to Dalia every time I made a S&L purchase vs simply going on-line to order. I found Brett based on a referral and once I spoke with her, I knew I had made the right choice! Brett presented her ideas while being attentive to the need to balance my life style and preferences in achieving the right look for me. In other words, she gently leads you to explore colours out of your normal comfort zone. Her attention to detail is incredible and hence the colours, textures all tie together Brett is respectful of time while being both flexible and creative to ensure you receive the best of talent.
