I just moved to the neighborhood and thought I would try Dip because of their wonderful reviews. However, I am VERY disappointed as I have never had a worse nail service. Being a regular nail appt patron, I recognize it is not a big deal if it hurts a teeny bit here and there when a technician accidentally cuts your cuticle too much, cuts you while filing, and so on. During my appt, my fingers and toes hurt SO MUCH from the services that I closed my eyes and tried to relax. I eventually opened them only to see that they were using the wrong color..... they were at least a full coat in so I brushed it off. While they were finshing up I realized that my nails were not only bumpy but also had little specs of dust or something under the clear coat on several nails. I pointed it out and asked if they could fix it, and they said they didn't see an issue. So, I brushed it off again not wanting to make a big deal of it. I even tipped them both because I thought I was over reacting. Flash forward to that night.... I had to take advil because of all of the cuts on my cuticles and fingers...... If you go to this establishment, please watch attentively to what the technicians are doing and speak up if you are in pain....
Read moreI had a disappointing first experience. While the staff members were great, the manager was unprofessional. A friend of mine, who is a regular, invited me to try this place and booked two manicure/pedicure appointments for us. I arrived five minutes late, and they invited me to sit next to my friend. The manager handed me the color options, and then... nothing happened.
One hour later—yes, I am a patient person—nobody had started my treatment. I asked about it, and finally, the lady who had just finished my friend’s pedicure started mine. After two hours, no one had begun my manicure. I decided to call the manager over. Instead of apologizing, he tried to blame my lateness. That’s when my friend nearly lost her patience, and I was getting frustrated too. He made some absurd excuses and didn’t seem to care about our experience. I asked my friend to let it go because I didn’t want him to ruin her day.
Fast forward to nearly three hours later for the manicure and pedicure, and it simply wasn't worth my time. When it came time to pay, I was charged the full price, with no apology for the awful service. I will not be returning...
Read moreI have been a long-time customer at this salon, but my recent experience was beyond disappointing. I had an appointment with Lee at 12 PM. When I arrived, Lee was very relaxed, chatting and laughing with another customer, and did not even offer a simple apology for keeping me waiting.
I mentioned to her that I needed to pick up my son and asked if she would be done by 1:30 PM. Her attitude immediately shifted, and she became very rude and dismissive. She repeatedly told me to "relax my fingers" in an unpleasant tone, making me very uncomfortable.
Recently, I was in a car accident and have severe pain in my arms and shoulders. Despite knowing this, Lee angrily told me to swap my hands quickly, which was incredibly insensitive and mean.
This experience was unacceptable, and I will not be returning...
