⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Church Experience!

I had the pleasure of attending The Church at Rancho Bernardo for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with kindness and love. The people are incredibly friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

A special thank you to Margarita, who introduced me to Matty, who helped enroll me in the church information system and provided me with a first-time visitor kit—which included valuable church information and even a thoughtful gift! Their hospitality truly made a lasting impression.

The worship team was phenomenal! Their passion and talent in leading worship made me feel like I was experiencing a glimpse of heaven. The presence of God was so powerful, and the music truly prepared my heart for the message.

Pastor Jared delivered an incredible sermon that was both inspiring and deeply rooted in biblical truth. I love his teaching style—clear, engaging, and full of wisdom. He has a great way of making the Christian faith relatable and encouraging for everyone.

Beyond the spiritual experience, the church itself is very well-organized. The sanctuary is spotless, with comfortable seating, and equipped with large screens that make following along seamless. The media team does an outstanding job managing the sound and cameras with cutting-edge technology, ensuring a high-quality worship experience.

I left feeling truly blessed by my time at The Church at Rancho Bernardo. If you are looking for a loving, Christ-centered community, amazing worship, and biblical teaching, I highly recommend visiting!

I initially greatly enjoyed attending this church, and thought I found a church I actually wanted to be baptized at. However, that changed after I had listened to a sermon by Mike. I wanted to try to give this church the benefit of the doubt, but it looks like they are not the church for me. I contacted Jared the head pastor via email as I had a question about one of the sermons his teaching pastor Mike gave during a morning service. I sent the email on 12/1 still no response. I did give them an “out” so to speak, at the end by saying if it was odd for people to reach out with questions please disregard my email. I was hoping they would reach out and provide any clarification regarding his statement, but it looks like that won’t be the case.

Mike was discussing behaviors, emotions, and needs; great messages. But, he also mentioned we shouldn’t be focused on diagnosing and more on the needs of people. I guarantee that if he had been talking about the medical field and not the mental health field he would’ve never said that they should not be focused on diagnosing. Both fields need to diagnose to be able to treat a condition effectively, and I don’t feel it’s good to send incorrect messages out to a congregation about mental health treatment. It’s probably best for a pastor to focus on what he knows which is the Bible. He also was rambling about how he was afraid of the dark, how many nightlights he has to have in his home currently, and how the game perfection and operation pretty much scarred him as a child. I loved this church in the beginning it always made me feel good and I felt like a better person after leaving but then we had a few tragic situations that we sought help for and the way we were handled about our situation was NOT at all the way they talk in the church during services. I realized that you never know how much people Care until you face a crisis to then find how much someone’s actually there. The lack of follow up and follow through lacked immensely and then we were complete forgot about in a life and death situation. I also hired a girl there who makes the costumes for the churches programs to make me a couple dresses that she just made a huge mess out of to the point the dresses had to be thrown away. One was for my engagement party and another for a party at the Del Mar races. When I asked her Kindly to help me fix them she appeared very offended. NOT at all my intention but at 200.00 plus I’d had hoped being a Christian she would be a little compassionate and that she was NOT! she Gave me my money back and asked me not to contact her again !! This is definitely NOT the definition of a Christian. This church showed me who they really were in two situations unrelated and I didn’t want to be a part of something that can’t practice what they preach.
