Urban Glass Smoke Shop — Local services in San Diego

I had a fantastic experience at Urban Glass! Typically, I am very uncomfortable in smoke shops because I don't feel welcome or I feel like I'm wasting the employees time because I am not an expert. I had the exact opposite experience here. James was immediately welcoming, and we had a great conversation. I explained what I wanted, and he showed some pieces at prices I didn't think I could get them for. Other reviews talked about the great prices, and they are 100% true. The shop was small, but had a lot of merchandise for the size. It felt very high end and clean, unlike other shops, and had a great vibe, with cool framed pictures everywhere and shelves made of sick metal pipes and fancy wood. This place is amazing!!! Marc (the owner) was genuine and down to earth. We came in from out of town (Texas) and he made us feel right at home. The pieces throughout the store are beautiful visions of glass art from pop culture (Yoda!!) to innovative design (hammer shape and hemp string holder). Marc is very knowledgeable and straightforward on every piece in his store, taking his time to ensure that the service he provides is one of a kind. Walking in this place is always a warm welcome. The owner put pride and joy into their shop and it shows within their product as well. I personally have bought a few unique peices from Urban Glass and I couldn't be more happy with my purchases. What I think makes this shop stand out from the rest is not only that their peices are from local artist and giving back to the art community but the shopping experience is one of a kind!
