Woodbridge Interiors — Local services in San Diego

I normally do not write reviews but our experience with Woodbridge has been unbelievably terrible. Our designer was great but the service from the company post purchase has been exceptionally poor. And you can imagine after spending ~$65,000, we expected so much more! First, we were told the furniture would take 6-8 weeks since it was a custom order which is reasonable. However, it took almost 12 weeks for most of it to arrive. One main issue with this company is that they only ship in bulk so your furniture just sets in the warehouse (east coast or wherever) until they have enough pieces for a full shipment. Case in point, we ordered a large console that took almost 8 weeks to arrive but I found the exact brand console at an online store and at another retailer for which would only take 4 days to 1 week to be delivered. Woodbridge could have gotten the console to use much earlier if they were truly focused on customer service. Basically this saves them money but at the customer’s expense and hence the long delay. Another issue, the inner cushion of one of the sections of the Marge Carson sectional was sagging and damaged. Company was notified in late May of the issue, representative came out on June 15 to take photos but I learned the replacement order was never placed until later. As of Aug 14, I still haven’t received a date for the inner cushion replacement. Absolutely unacceptable. This company apparently doesn’t care about getting any repeat business. We will never buy from Woodbridge ever again and we WILL NOT recommend to family and friends. In this day and age businesses with poor customer service don’t survive. I...

We bought a dining room set, stools, and living room furniture from them a couple of years ago. The furniture was “custom made,” with us choosing the fabrics, etc. The first part went very smoothly, with the salesperson. It was after we paid that things went downhill. The furniture was ordered early July. We were told the usual 4-6 weeks for delivery. We got some of the furniture (stools), within the estimated time. Everything else took so long! And there was zero communication— I had to hunt them down for any scrap of information. We finally got the living room items. But we got the dining room set right before Thanksgiving, the day before! As another person commented, furniture will sit in a warehouse until there are enough items to bring. Additionally, once they have the stuff in town, they don’t want to deliver until they have a truckload full! One person admitted they made a mistake with the dining room furniture and the order “hadn’t gone through,” initially. So I was outraged that after their mistakes, they still refused to deliver it once it arrived. It took several angry calls for me to finally get it. The furniture, overall, has been fine, thus 2 stars. But, the dining room furniture, although beautiful, was poorly designed. The side armchairs don’t go under the table we’ll. We have to raise to the top level, which then makes the table legs loose the bottom adjustable part. Anyhow, I’m writing this review now because I’m about to purchase new bedroom furniture, and I saw an add for Woodbridge. There is no way I’d buy here again.
