This spot is a total hidden gem! How did we miss this when driving by Miramar Rd before?
We were in the area for shopping and appointments and wanted a quick lunch, but then we saw kebab and polo on the menu and ended up ordering enough to take home for later.
They have a great selection of sandwiches and burgers here, but the owners have a Persian and Afghan background so they have a variety of middle eastern cuisine too.
All the meat is halal too, so that means the burgers are extra good. That burger was exceptionally good. We got a mix of kebab, and we were blown away by how juicy the chicken was. It's hard to find chicken kebab that doesn't get all dried out, but the way they do it here is perfect. Juicy lamb and beef kebab seasoned to perfection. The Qabuli Polo/Pulao is loaded with chunks of lamb too nestled in all that rice.
The owners are the nicest guys and take such good care of their guests. The food came out quickly and they even helped us pack it up when we were done. They have plenty of seating inside, nice simple atmosphere for a quick lunch.
We will definitely be back...

The service as soon as you walk through the door is outstanding; kind, friendly and so willing to answer any questions. (I had no idea what Gheimah was, and now that I do, I will be dreaming of it until I can eat it again, but I digress)
The atmosphere is casual, but clean and tidy. No unnecessary clutter or kitschy decor, just good comfy seats and a bit of faux greenery.
But, the prestige, the crown jewel, the reason anyone goes into any restaurant, deli or kitchen- the food. Delicious. The Gheimah (I may have misspelled that, please forgive if I have) was described as a "chicken and mushroom curry-like stew", but it was actually a love-letter to every seasoning treasured by the the old world. Served with basmati rice, a lovely little side salad and fluffy pita. My man had the beef skewers, and he similarly said it was insanely good.
Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu- seems like they've got something for everyone here, and the staff are incredibly nice folks....
Read moreUs two were the only ones there n we waited for our orders a very long time. What did we order? Cheeseburgers n fries. It came with a little meat(no seasoning like salt etc,) and ginormous buns. Inside I found lettuce n mayo but a tiny lonely slice of tomato. Yep just one. My friend took hers back cuz no onions. I waited for her return. She sat down and I said you paid for fries where are they but she didn't want to go back to ask for them. Why? Cuz I had to go up too after her. I had onions stuck into my cheese on my sandwich n when I went up the lady kept arguing with me as to why didn't I give to my friend. Cuz my friend didn't ask me to see if our sandwichs were switched. What does that matter. I can't eat onions. How long will you argue with me before I can sit down and wait again for my food. Finally the man said he would remake it and I sat down. A bit later the man came over and asked what I wanted on it. Yes made correctly this time but still one lonely tiny tomato slice and still too little a...
