Garbage. Still trying to mandate masks. In 2023! Talk about a cult of delusional, paranoid hypochondriacs. They also have a sign stating that they "reserve the right to change back issue prices at any time". Translation: customers are meant to serve as de facto employees (without compensation) and do the shop's work for them by identifying any hidden gems that the shop was too lazy to inventory and price themselves. After the "customer" has finished doing the shop's work (again, without compensation), the shop can then jack up the prices at the register. So, not only has the "customer" now unwittingly worked for the shop for free, they are now unexpectedly hit with artificially-inflated prices once standing at the register.

With comic shops closing all over the country on a seemingly weekly basis, one might assume that shops would be a little more intelligent in their posture. When this Branch Covidian cult den, masquerading as a comic shop, is inevitably forced to close up for good, it won't...

I used to come here when it was Comics and Comics in the late 70's and 80's. It was a community for all types including social oddballs like me and became the first place I ever felt comfortable and accepted (I don't suppose anyone else remembers "Pipe"??). So much more than a store!

I'm pretty sure I remember Frank way back then, he was always really nice and welcoming and it's awesome to know he's still there providing the same kind of space and community.

This is strictly a comic book store, I repeat, JUST comics. If you need to pick up the latest issue, perfect, you're in the right spot. There are no games, no Magic, no Heroclix, no action figures, just comics. Also since it's a fairly small store, don't expect to find that back issue that you need for your collection. They do however have a nice selection of older graphic novels that you usually can't find at other shops because they sold them years ago, such as collected issues of Ultimate X-Men or...
