Sunset Indian Cuisine: A Delightful Culinary Experience Near Japanese Tea Garden** After a pleasant visit to the Japanese Tea Garden, we decided to explore a nearby Indian restaurant for lunch. Parking concerns led us to choose Sunset Indian Cuisine, just a convenient 15-minute walk away. This turned out to be an excellent decision! The restaurant is conveniently located for those visiting the Japanese Tea Garden or the botanical garden, providing a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal after exploring the attractions. **Appetizers:** We started our meal with Everest Chicken Momos and Vegetable Momos, along with Lentil Soup, Tomato Hot Sour Soup, and Chicken Hot Sour Soup. The Chicken Momos, paired with their delightful chutney, were a highlight – bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Chicken Soup was rich and hearty, reminiscent of a curry soup, providing a unique twist to a classic dish. **Entrees:** For the main course, we indulged in Himalayan Goat Curry, Butter Paneer Masala, Garlic Naan, and Chilli Naan. The naan breads were impressively large, perfect for sharing. The Goat Curry was expertly prepared, tender and flavorful, ideal for two people. The Butter Paneer Masala was also a standout, creamy and satisfying. However, the Everest Chicken Momos truly stole the show, leaving a lasting impression with their exceptional taste. **Overall Experience:** The pricing at Sunset Indian Cuisine is reasonable, offering great value for the quality and quantity of food served. This restaurant is a fantastic option for anyone in the area, whether you're visiting the Japanese Tea Garden or the botanical garden. The combination of delicious food, reasonable prices, and convenient location makes Sunset Indian Cuisine a must-visit.

Went to Sunset Indian Cuisine today for lunch and wow I’m still full. Like, might-skip- dinner tonight full. First of all, the place is super clean like “your mom would approve” clean. They kick things off with a complimentary papadum and some punchy house-made pickle. Free crunchy snacks? Yes, I will be coming back.

We ordered the chowmein, hurricane momos, and kebabs, and every single dish hit the spot. The chowmein was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the momos were juicy and satisfying, and the kebabs had that smoky, grilled goodness. You can really taste the authentic Nepalese and Indian flavors.

Heads-up: this is traditional Nepalese and Indian cooking, which means everything is made fresh from scratch so no shortcuts here. So yes, your food might take a while depending on what you are craving and how busy it is but trust me, it’s worth the wait. And hey, you get a free appetizer while you chill, so no biggie.

Bonus points: whether you’re a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, they’ve got something for everyone. They also offer nut-free and gluten-free options, just ask they’re super accommodating.

Overall, the food’s amazing, the vibe is welcoming, and the service is spot-on. Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe bring stretchy pants...
