Benjamin Moore - Creative Paint — Local services in San Francisco

This guy refused to shake a can of paint I brought in claiming that "only a newbie would do that because no professional would ever risk it. 90% of all cans leak." He did offer me a stir stick and opener but he still lost my business forever for my house and my rentals paint needs.

1. He would have a solid point if my can was old and dented. His comment was a matter of policy though as he didn't even want to inspect my can
2. However, the "professionals" down the street had a chuckle when they happily shook my can. They had no problems with the idea of paint. They thought the professional part was extra funny. Was in and out within 2 minutes at the other shop so it wasn't like I was putting them out.

I can't believe Benjamin Moore made exactly the same paint as Kelly Moore. I just show the lady the photo and she mix the paint for me. And even better I found a painter there for me. And after we test the paint Benjamin Moore made, the painter said " yeah, this is the right color." Amazing, isn't it ?

Tell you what, the first store I tried to made the same paint was S-W also on Ocean Ave, the guy look at my photo said he can't do it without seeing my actual wall.

I was happy going into the store early on Friday. That feeling changed as I looked at paint colors for the exterior of our house. A gentleman who worked there did not acknowledge me for a while. I walked over to where he was at the back half of the store to ask him a question and was spoken to with anger for passing the circle on the floor that said STOP. In answering my question, he was terse and as unfriendly as one can get. I will never go there again and will advise all our friends to not patronize that...
