Golden Coast serves authentic Cantonese Cuisine, Dim Sum & Steam Hot Pot which was my first time experiencing. You picked out the fresh seafood, meats & vegetables and the server will cooked it at your table in a hot pot by steam, you will enjoy each item individually and end up with an extremely delicious rice porridge at the bottom with all the fragrance from the ingredients that you picked out earlier. It is a very healthy and tasty cooking technique originated from Southern China. Is a MUST try.

I purchased the lobster 🦞 over noodles, it cost me $23.99 plus tax. The noodle is no taste 😔. It is old, no sauce and taste like nothing else. The photo picture shows the noodles like stick together and very hard to eat. I can't believe that they can cook the noodles like garbage. How can they cook like that? I just finished the lobster, and I have to make a cup of noodles for myself. I will not purchase the food in this restaurant anymore.

I asked a regular customer for a recommendation. She suggested the clay pot with chicken, tofu and salted fish as well as the salt and pepper chicken wings. That was way too much food for one person so naturally I ordered both plus some steamed rice. My server didn't have to ask how I liked it because I was all smiles and face down in the clay pot. A ok did sum spot on ocean Ave. The food is avergae, not bad but not out of this world. You'll almost always get a table here even during the peak times, wait is minimal. Service can be a bit slow, especially if you sit on the second floor. Dinner is a hit of miss, more often good than bad. Once in a while you might get a dish that's too salty or has a weird taste, either due to the freshness of the ingredients or the chef cooking the meal at that time.
