I was visiting SF from Australia and I thought I knew a decent amount about queer history but I learned so much more! Kathy is a wealth of knowledge and had so many stories to share. It was a moving, reflective, connecting tour but still with lots of humour and fun. I went on another tour in SF later that week and the tour guide spoke to me about how Kathy’s work inspired him to start doing his own tours! Read moreMy Partner and I had a wonderful walking tour with Kathy. We did The Castro: Historical Walking Tour of San Francisco's Gay & Lesbian District on January 13th , 2017. Kathy has a lot of deep knowledge about the Gay and Lesbian struggle and shared it with great personal touch from the period of Harvey Milk to the present day. As we walked around the neighbourhood we were introduced to some of the long time residents that played a part in securing the rights that the LGBT community have today.
