Deluxe Lavender Nail Spa — Local services in San Francisco

I couldn't believe how rude this place is, especially the front desk person. I was excited to try a place in my neighborhood. I've been getting pedicures regularly for over a decade, tried many places but never have I encountered such rudeness or just lack of good service. I don't know about you, but when I get my pedicure, I'm in a good mood, or put in a good mood, and do not expect to get the reverse effect.

One of my big toe paint was ruined bc i put my shoes in too early, after the front desk person told me it's safe. I came back an hour later to ask them to repaint that one toe. I've had this happen once or twice and all the other places made no big deal about it and was nice. Not this place. Afterwards, I said thank you (even though they've been rude the whole time and I shouldn't have tipped but I did), the front desk girl stared at me with an attitude, like she hates me and doesn't say anything. No "that's ok", no "don't worrry about it", no "you're welcome", no smile. Nothing. I wish I could take away my thank you. I really hope these people reflect on this and...

I don’t usually leave reviews but saw reviews that they don’t take walk ins and are very rude, but I’ve been to this place 3 times now and the staff have been nothing but extremely nice. One of those times I did just walk in with no appt and they took me. I spent a really long time working with the person doing my nails to find the perfect colour for what I was looking for and she took a the time to make sure the design was what I wanted. The gel pedicure I got lasted weeks! I always need to take them off before they even start chipping because they last so long. I’ll admit a bit pricey but similar to others I’ve seen in the area. I never normally write reviews but I had to for this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and now Phuong has bought the business. The place is clean and a very comfy neighborhood salon. The people have always been so kind. Got a gel mani the other day and noticed there was a little problem with the top coat (nothing big, just something with the texture. We’re human). I went back the next day and Phuong was immediately on top of it, helping to redo the top coat and it came out perfectly.
