Nice little library in the neighborhood, due to it size if you need something specific you have to make a request. very friendly staffs. Good bathroom too.

Tucked in, quiet, peaceful library. I only wish the chairs were more comfy.

This Library is wack! There very quick to kick people out For sleeping, Not even giving them a warning, And also with people that talk on there cell phones, But yet they had, A guy in here the other day that was talking on his cell phone being distracting as Hell. Did Nothing about it! This Library is okay! Especially iF you Live in the Haight Ashberry district, However I did want to Mention that they Now have security guard there Now, Where as before when the First time I went there there was Never one. So something Must oF happened when I wasn’t there one oF the days! I also wanted to say that apparently there also strict on the tape you can use in here, even though that’s Not what I was told originally First. But the Lady in here came back and said well sometimes we’re a little to Nice! Whatever TH that’s supposed to Mean. So iF you do a lot oF shipping Labels in here or Need tape For something! Do Not ask, Cause they’ll put a stop to it real quick. Or at least the Lady...

This is really a no star review. I do not go to the library for bad experiences! I was there yesterday to pick-up a book I ordered. They let you in now apparently---instead of pick-up at the door. So, no gaiters, no bandanas, etc. Which I guess is fine but their signage should say that. The sign just said masks are required. SFPL, people do not like getting stop by police officers. And people do not like getting stop by police officers that tell they are doing something wrong. Not sure why the librarians can't regulate this. Of course, this was only part of the experience and conversation but all in all it...

Since when did librarians become transgressive bullies? Excuse me but why is my ethnic background an issue? I have zero, zip, no Italian ancestry whatsoever. I hear employees speaking about me in the negative apparently making an assumption that Im Italian and apparently being Italian is a bad thing here. My ancestry is Lebanese Irish Egyptian English French German Belgian South Asian Indian and Native American Ogallala Sioux & Choctaw Danish Afghan Libyan. My entire background is based on racial harmony & Im being treated like some reject from the godfather. No excuse for this as Im also very well behaved like an adult should be. So sorry you don't approve of...
