I love Downtown Grocery Market. They have the most awesome people running that store, that I have ever met. Not like most of these ”corner” stores down here in the TL who rush you out of the store telling you ”there is no shopping here”. They are kind, honest, welcoming, friendly, and just a joy to be around. They are so great that I even had the owner run down the street to get me bc I had dropped money out of my pocket without even knowing. Definitely not something you see anywhere around here. They also have the best selection of food, candy, drinks, and an awesome selection of hoodies and accessories for phones. They even deliver. I'm so glad they are my go to store and that Mo is finally back with us. I definitely missed his kind attitude and awesome customer service while he was back home. I would 100% recommend this store to anyone looking for anything besides alcohol and cigarettes. Because they have it all, and all at a great price. Thank you Downtown...

I've been with this grocery family since they were on 6th Street they moved over to Eddy Street and I moved to Eddy Street shortly after I'm so glad to be able to do my small store business with them they have the best snacks at the best prices and if you're looking for a great deal on hoodies do-rags phone accessories and everything in between they have it. They also have the biggest selection of ice cream in the area but aside from all of that if it wasn't for the friendly welcoming they all provide from tall to small, then they'd be just one of the others but the warmness you get makes you feel like one of their own. This is the BEST convenience store in the city . Especially in the TL. They have everything ! Except alcohol or torches ! And I think that’s such a great idea . It keeps the users away! Making it a pleasant experience . They’re ALWAYS fully stocked with tech supplies , ice cream , candy, snacks, drinks, slushies , even some produce and groceries for a healthier option !
