Daldas Community Market — Local services in San Francisco

Such a lovely little mom & pop, staff so helpful & respectful, never getting annoyed if u ask questions, they're quite the opposite & always willing to help! It's so easy to go to the store a few doors down (live @ Turk&Taylor) but many ppl including myself continue to have negative experiences (exp. food, gnats in the icebox & hot food - like their Mac n cheese - from not being covered, double sliding ur card or overcharging if ur not payin attention, just very rude/shady ppl all around) & so I've been tryin to get everyone in my building to walk the extra block to Dalda's instead, to support a store that actually has fresh products run by ppl who are not tryin to rip u off or see u as their next quick buck, who will even ask wat ur tryin to find so they can have it next time! Sorry for long review, just sum seriously good honest folks who deserve...

A very community involved store and the Beautiful Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco at the corner of Taylor and Eddy Street even though I moved out of the community or that neighborhood I still stop by there after work and support the neighborhood business and the store owner Bill and his wonderful employees that he have their beautiful people and the type of store that if you don't see something on the shelves and you let them know that you'll be coming to the store a lot and you say that you want certain items they will make sure they put it on their list grocery items and I'll say with in two weeks you normally would see it...

They should be ashamed. Located in the heart of the Tenderloin, majority residents are low income, yet Daldas has the nerve to charge $8.00 for a gallon of milk. You can get it at Walgreens for nearly half as much. They are OVER-PRICED. AND..you dont see many brand items on their shelves. You HAVE to buy the brand they stock. Which is usually some foreign brand noones heard of. All in all, personally, I think theyre a rip off. They purchase most of their items at Costco and turn around and resell it for...
