I feel so blessed to have discovered Jennifer Toy of JT Artistry! She is highly experienced, well trained in professional hair and makeup, very dedicated to her craft.... and it shows! It was so much fun getting to know more about her during my trial appointment in my bedroom on a stormy morning the month prior. Just a quick glance at my Pinterest inspiration board and she totally nailed the look I was hoping to achieve, but I looked even better!

Spending that enjoyable time together gave me the extra confidence that the morning of my wedding would be a joyful, peaceful experience for myself and my wedding party. She arrived on time, ready to work, and has such a calming, sweet personality that makes everyone fall in love with her.

On my wedding day, Jennifer expertly styled us all --- myself, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and flower girl --- exactly as we envisioned, taking it up a notch and our look stayed perfect throughout the wedding day and night. Our flower girl loved her cute curls and touch of lip gloss. And having that extra bit of professional lipstick in my purse for later in the night was such a sweet and thoughtful touch.

I booked Jennifer from JT Artistry for my SF City Hall wedding. My experience was great from the start. I live about 400 miles from where my wedding was taking place, so I was worried about how a trial run would work. We emailed back and forth discussing inspiration pictures, my dress, etc. She had mentioned having plenty of out of town brides and that the trial wasn't 100% necessary, but my nerves got the best of me, so I just booked a mid-week turn-around trip and scheduled the trial. I'm SO glad I did.

My trial appointment was for 11am, and by late afternoon I realized the liquid makeup wasn't going to cooperate with my ridiculously oily skin. Plus, it just felt a little heavier than I was hoping for. I let her know all of my concerns once I'd gotten back home. She totally got me, and she decided we'd use airbrush makeup the day of the wedding. It turned out GREAT!! It was so natural looking and I didn't need any sort of blotting or touch-ups all day! I also found a new inspo pic for my hair long after the trial, showed it to her the morning of the wedding and she NAILED it. My sister hired Jennifer to do our makeup and hair before she got married at City Hall the other week, and we were both impressed with her. Despite our setting of a small hotel room space, she was flexible, and super efficient in her work and use of time. She knew exactly what colors and styles would complement us, and our hair and makeup lasted way until the end of the night. I received so many compliments, especially about the eyelashes Jennifer used because they looked so vibrant yet natural (and were super comfortable as well!). I also really appreciated her sending my sister and I off with a nicely packaged sample of our lipsticks to touch-up throughout the night. I highly recommend Jennifer for her talent, thoughtfulness and calm nature which made it very easy and enjoyable to work with her.
