Great place to get a massage, La Nee is well run and has good safety measures during the pandemic. Friendly, professional, staff have consistently been the only ones I've encountered over the years. I've gone here many times and gotten great help for sore back legs or neck. My first massage since covid was yesterday and it it was great although masks can be a little challenging. Masks are of course mandatory and you should ask to turn your head if the mask makes it hard to breathe (I did and my understanding masseuse got me comfortable and kept us safer with the masks). You'll also have a temperature check and it's obvious they are doing a lot of extra cleaning between every customer (the rooms are also reconfigured to be much larger, presumably for spacing). I was pleasantly surprised to find myself feeling very safe and not at all worried about Covid.
Nice tea to go at the end, so I could drink it outside (masks remember) and I was on my way...

The poor girl had to dig with her elbows to get the knots out. But she was able to locate the tension. I told them back and shoulders but she felt it in the left shoulder and focused on that area. First time anyone has located it. So after working my back and shoulders, things got interesting. I wish i could see what she did, but the best i could tell, she used her legs to contort my legs and dug her heel into places in my legs i didn't know i had tension. Some time after the elbow back work (maybe when she was walking on my legs and back) i caught myself having fallen asleep. I've never done that before. Definitely going to try this...
Read moreNJ's technique and his understanding of body integration has me walking again from injuring myself in my hips, legs and feet--caused from being laid up in bed and dependent upon one leg after I had burned the other accidentally. The overuse of one leg, and improper use of the other caused SO many issues--numb heels, shooting shin pain, knee and hip pain and misalignment--and even a few sessions of acupuncture at one of the top practices here in SF initially didn't make a dent. The first session with NJ however began a journey that gave me hope again. For the best results, I do believe that it is essential to trust him and allow him to go very deep with the massage--which can be hard for some that cannot work through pain. But I was never sore afterwards--only one step closer to recovery. Thank you from the bottom of...
