Allagash White, Witbier 5.0% ABV, Portland, ME
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and spiced with coriander and Curaçao orange peel, this beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy in appearance.
Barebottle Scurvy Fighter, American Pale Ale 5.4% ABV, San Francisco, CA
Our first Flagship Beer, Scurvy Fighter is an all-Citra-hopped Pale ale inspired by the early California Pioneers who grew citrus to combat weakness & Anaemia. This World Cup of Beer winner has intense citrus aromas to keep you feeling strong!
Bear Republic Grandpa's Homegrown Wet Hop IPA, IPA · 9.0% ABV, Healdsburg, CA
Pine and grapefruit lingers with light woodsiness
Bruery Autumn Maple, Spiced Beer 10.0% ABV, Placentia, CA
This beer is made in the pumpkin beer tradition, except instead of pumpkins they used yams, and lots of them! A big Belgian-style brown ale of 10% ABV, this one is bringing pumpkin beers (or yam beers) into new territory.
Epic Tart N' Juicy Sour IPA, Sour Ale 4.6% ABV, Salt Lake City, UT
We've combined the clean, puckering tartness of kettle souring with an abundance of juicy, citrus-driven hops to create a beer that's the best of both worlds.

Is it possible to overdose on sausage? One fateful evening in SF, I found out that you can. Yes, you can. When the sausage is this flipping delicious, you most certainly can.

I believe the first time I went here was sometime back in '07. We were looking for some pre-lounge eats and heard about Roasmunde. We had a German tourist in tow with our small group, so I wanted to see how he'd like it, compared to the good sausage-based grub from his motherland. I ordered a knockwurst with sauerkraut and grilled onions. Oh man, that thing was delicious. That nice crispness on the outside and super juicy on the inside, complemented by brown mustard and the toppings. One of the best sausages i've had. The verdict of my German friend: just as authentic and really good.

Another evening, I went with a different friend. I wanted to introduce him to Rosamunde's and he also had a hankering for some Russian pastries. So first we hit up Geary St. for some Russian treats... some very greasy Russian treats. We even get our fill. But we decided that we're still (somehow) hungry.. so on to Rosamunde's we went. We ordered 4 sausages to share: merguez, duck, wild boar, and knockwurst. I then pigged out on a level that I have never ever pigged out since. It was ugly to say the least. I experienced more than a food coma afterwards. More like clinical death via food...

Yes, my friends, that's how good the sausages from here are. Although i'll never ever feast like a madman again (i've lost a considerable amount of weight since then), Rosamunde still remains one of my favorite spots for grub in SF. Please do yourself a favor and order a sausage... or...

do not order from the phone! i heard about their wait time so i called their main number to order ahead of time and pick up, only to show up on haight and get some very confused looks on their faces. apparently, they don't take orders over the phone. therefore, their phone system automatically switched me over to the mission store. totally not their fault, but i definitely know now to order on the spot.

after getting everything straightened out, i waited the standard 15ish minutes along with other standing people occupying the small space waiting for their own orders. man i was HUNGRYYY and practically inhaled the food. but it still didn't live up to the hype for me. we shared a wild boar, chicken, beer sausage, and andouille.

my favorite was definitely the beer sausage. it wasn't my first time having a boar "dish", and i'm not particularly crazy about this particular meat. everything was good but i've definitely had better hot dogs at top dog in berkeley and gray's papaya in new york. maybe i had high expectations, but we should have high expectations for all of our food! i'm not especially impressed, and i actually don't feel that the price is cheap enough for...

Good late-night food in the mission!! No I'm not talking about that place catty corner - el diaria-eato. Instead go to Rosa Munde and chow down on any of their super delicious sausages. Lamb with fennel, chicken with mushroom truffle, these are not hot dogs! I don't even like hot dogs. The bread is great and the sausages are slathered in fried onions. At $6.50 its priced as it is - upscale. I tried one of the specials and my friend rocked one of the classics - the beer sausage. Mine was better but both tasty. They even have Vegan options if you want your farts to smell terrible and make babies cry. And did i mention the beer list? It is dope! They have everything and its on tap. Again, they are priced upscale at $7-9 bucks a beer. But if you're just gonna have one, might as well make it good! The fries were good, but certainly not a necessity. Ladies: come earlier in the evening as a place this high class tends to close before the riff raff show up to hump your leg and vomit...

This was a completely unexpected stop on another food adventure I was on with a friend. They have a great selection of quality sausages and even offer a selection of beyond meat vegetarian sausages. This location also has a great lunch special. Any sausage, two classic toppings, fries and either a 1/2 pint of beer or a soda. Its only 13 bucks! Such a great deal for good food! Our table tried the hungarian sausage which is mildly spicy with garlic and the beer sausage, it has beer in it enough said. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted. If you're wandering through the Mission and don't want Latin food cuz you've stuffed yourself with it come here have pint and a sausage or some poutine. Totally worth it!

Most definitely a 5 star eats. The fact that you can eat a great variety of sausages and drink a perfect selection of beers is a winning combination. The open window dining room and large wooden benches with tables are also a benefiting factor of Rosamunde. The restaurant has sidewalk seating and patio seating. The interior seating has 5 large bench seats and tucked inside are 3 more high chair tables with seats. In the rear of the dining room are park style benches which wrap around to the exit door. But to keep perspective, the sausages and beer are the 5+ stars of Rosamunde. Treat yourself!

Real German here ! I can certify that their dishes are tasty and pretty authentic. :) We got Currywurst, Bratwurst and Käsespätzle. They were all well-made, albeit a bit less flavorful than I'm used to from home. Loved the fries and kartoffelsalat especially. I maybe wouldn't get the Spätzle again, they lacked a bit of crisp and seasoning, but that may be up to preference. All in all a successful visit in a cozy rustic atmosphere ! Would advise all Germans to check this out. Restrooms available, have a code lock but usually left open.
