We brought a group of 9 girls here for our daughter's 11th birthday party, and it was fantastic!! Teresa was very accommodating in booking our reservation, and she and the entire team made our experience flawless from start to finish.
They shepherded our large and excitable crew through scent selection, blending and the candle-making process with kindness, enthusiasm and utmost patience, making us feel welcome and valued the whole time. I was surprised and delighted at how smoothly the whole event went, given the high potential for hiccups with a big group of kids. The team is great with kids and the girls had a blast. The location is amazing too, right in the heart of Noe Valley, so we had a really nice birthday lunch (and froyo!) while we waited for our candles to be ready for pickup. They also added an extra Birthday Cake scented candle in my daughter's bag at the end as a little gift, which I thought was a really sweet touch.
My wife and I were honestly a little envious of the whole experience and are hoping to come back for a date night so we can make candles too! Highly recommend Moonshot Studio and will...
Read moreWhat a beautiful space in Noe Valley. Came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and we had a great experience. Reserving a couple Seats for the party was a breeze I believe I spoke with Teresa and she was sweet and accommodating especially being that I had to bring my 5 year old. Parking is a bit hard but there is a lot across the street and street parking if you get lucky. Upon walking in it’s very bright and smells so good duh lol it’s a candle making shop. We seated and introduced to our specialist Eden who was so nice. They walked us through the process and encouraged us to take our time to make the perfect blend. The floral and fruity sections were my favorites and also the seasonal scents. My daughter and I made a cranberry presecco, fig and morning dew candle OMG I can’t wait to burn it. You do have the leave the candle and come back for it so I would suggest going to The bakery across the streets for some coffee and pastries or driving down to the Wooden Spoon for brunch. This place is cute for a date, self care date mommy daughter...
Read moreThis is a delayed review but I must share because everyone should check out this establishment. This small business is one worth supporting. My wife reached out to many businesses to host a group of 20-30 to make candles as an adjunct event to a larger conference in the San Francisco area. Teresa, the owner, responded with great eagerness and persistence to plan this event. Even when their schedules didn't mesh well and they were playing phone tag, Teresa remained flexible and open to help planning. That was all BEFORE the event. Once at the event, she had the best of the best employees help make candles. Her product is just lovely, she has many scents and a gorgeous studio to carry out all of your dreams regarding candles, room/body sprays and diffusers. All of my guests were super happy, some ended up making additional candles and many said they would love to return. (Since this is a delayed reviewed, some have already returned on their own time to make a gift that...
