This is a really great pub with amazing staff. Definitely the best staff in all of the Bay Area, and by far the best sports bar in the city. Drinks are also exceptionally priced in this establishment, making it one of the few places you can drop in on multiple times a week. It also makes for one of the best date nights in the city. You can sit at the bar if you want to meet folks and have a lovely conversation, or stow away into one of the massive booths for privacy. It’s also an excellent place to host event. Rent out the back patio, and give the lovely bartenders your card to start a tab. Last but not least, don’t forget the swag. The coolest bar T Shirt in the city, make sure to ask to purchase one before you go.

Got a great parking spot across the street in front of Now Valley Bakery, which is not always the case on 24th Street. We were meeting friends there in the back outdoor area. TVs at every booth and you just ask the server to change the channel - we wanted to see the Giants. Midday beers on St Patrick’s Day weekend and it was lovely out. Lots of locals go there, so we saw a few friends. Service was great and I was introduced to the Black Velvet: Prosecco and Guinness! Sounds kind of awful but it was great. Our server was Shanna and she’s so much fun and works hard. Took great care of us!

Great location with a fun and energetic local vibe. Wonderful selection of drinks with a full bar. Tons of restaurants across the street and next door. You can order food to go from one of the local restaurants and take it back to the bar to eat while having your drinks. Very attentive staff that was friendly. Highly recommend!

Checked out Valley Tavern for the first time for the USA - BEL World Cup match. I was looking for a low-key neighborhood spot with a large draught beer selection--VT fit the bill perfectly!

The bartenders were very nice despite the crowd, and the owner (I think) produced a stool from somewhere when he saw me standing alone waiting for a friend. They have a smoke room off the front and a small patio in the back that has a TV if you need fresh air and sports at the same time. Their food comes from Le Zinc across the street, and somehow the fries are still amazing and crispy after being transported in the take away box. You can also order in Paxti's!

Looking forward to...
