Have been thinking about the croissant taco for over a year since I first saw it on instagram. Every time I've been in the area I wasn't able to get it. Finally was in town with enough time to grab one and I walked from Union square to get it. It looked kind of pretty like I expected but when I took my first flight I was very disappointed. The croissant was tough and greasy as well as the bread to feeling ratio was off by a lot. The croissant shell was huge compared to what was imside.. I would be interested in trying it again with hopes of it actually being good. They only offered one flavor when I was there, having the choice of other options that I saw on their Instagram page would have been awesome.

How anyone could give this restaurant below 5 stars is beyond me!! Best, chillest, casual brunch in San Francisco, with food that is absolutely perfect. After retuning here time after time, it’s finally time to leave my review! The vibe here is very casual, you order up front and then seat yourself. You’re surrounded by a clean airy space with racks of fresh croissants cooling in the corners and a not-too-loud music serenade. Food is so good, I often order it from DoorDash when I’m not able to come in. The croissants are so soft , flaky, taste like they came straight from Europe. Recently I tried the key like croissant and it was so fun and refreshing! Hands down the best egg sandwich in San Francisco. Thick slabs of juicy bacon, perfectly salted egg, generous smears of avocado, and melty cheddar are sandwiched between 2 large slices of lightly toasted fresh sourdough bread. There is also some light magical herbed spread that makes this sandwich truly unbeatable. Can’t get enough of it. I’m known for always saying “I can make this better in my kitchen” when I’m at restaurants, but I can honestly say that there is nothing at Vive La Tarte that I could make better in my own kitchen, coming from a...

DELICIOUS GOURMET SPOT. BEST FRENCH PASTRIES IN SF FOR ME. I first stopped in this place for a latte and SF cheesecake on a lazy afternoon. It was so good (I love spéculos crust cheesecake), I decided to come back on Sunday to brunch. Had the avocado beetroot falafel salad and my husband the avocado toast with poach eggs. It was delicious, very refined and tasty. More tasty than many of the other places we went before even it was great spots. Some details make the difference : the seasonings, eggs very well cooked, quality of Bread (home made by a real baker chef). The tea is also very good and most of it, the pain au chocolat is one of the best we ever had. And trust me, as a French, we know about it ;) Bravo! Highly recommand this place for a snack, a coffee, a lunch or a brunch. (The place is well...

Omg, why I discovered this place only one week before leaving San Francisco!?😭

I am genuinely in awe from this place and their pastries. Probably (most likely) the best croissants, coffee and staff in the whole entirety of the city 😍🤤

The gentle giant barista with the sweetest Australian accent will make you feel safe even when you are ordering around 9000kcal of pastries alone. The coffee deserves an extra shout out!

Well, and if you're lucky to stop by this magical place on a weekend morning, you just ought to try the TaCro. This is the best, the most delicious and the only croissant taco in the world. It is so pornographically delicious, tempting and hot (with the sauce) that you are most definitely bound to reach multiple foodgasms with each bite ✨❤️🌮🥐

Vive la révolution!...
