SF Craftsman did a complete remodel and expansion of my bathroom to a higher end modern bathroom. SF Craftsman impressed me from the beginning in that, when they came to the house to do the initial sight inspection, I discussed the plan for the remodel and their subsequent visit to present their proposal along with the contract. The proposal was very professional and detailed documentation based on the design plan and initial inspection. Most contractors I had dealt with previously in the selection process did very superficial inspection (in some cases none) with the quote mailed with very little specifics of what they were going to do in the remodel. SF Craftsman, David Tamoury, was very professional from the start to the end of the project. All work was directed and overseen by David. The work by Max, site crew manager, was excellent. He does excellent work and has a great attitude. Also, Orlando was excellent. As with all construction projects, the homeowner needs to be there to monitor work and interact with David and the crew as questions come up as the project progresses. I would highly recommend SF Craftsman, David Tamboury, and his primary crew. As skilled and knowledgeable, and they often provide positive recommendations during the construction process. David stands behind his work and responds quickly to questions and follow-up as needed.

I purchased an old SF condo that had had a good 40 years of "eh, good enough" remodels done to it. It was time to make the one bathroom functional and spacious by moving a wall to recapture some space, and redo the soft floors in the back room before any potential water damage got any worse. After getting wild quotes from contractors who must have thought my small projects were beneath them (not that a gut bathroom remodel was small for me!) and hard sales from Build/Design places who were ready for an overpriced, cookie cutter flip, David and Stasia were a breath of fresh air. I think I found them by literally googling "small SF remodel contractors", but their work was anything but. The pricing was as transparent as could be, their crew did fantastic work, left our place as clean as could be expected, handled our (many) design changes with aplomb (including functionally adding a linen closet when we found out there was space to do it), and did it on a crunched timeline in between hosting relatives and friends. We trusted them enough to skip town for three weeks during the worst of it, and they delivered a bathroom that two months later I still look at and say WOW. Truly I hope nothing else in this house needs to be redone while I am living in it, but if it does I will definitely call SF Craftsman!

I can't recommend SF Craftsman enough. We embarked on our first ever home renovation earlier this year, redoing a guest bathroom, and it was a daunting process. From the initial meeting, Stasia and David were kind, funny, & understanding. What's more, they seemed to really appreciate our 100 year old home and its weird little quirks. We wanted to keep our new bathroom in line with the styling of the rest of the house, but also incorporate some modern amenities. Stasia and David were on board with our vision, and made suggestions that improved the design exponentially. They found ways to add more storage into the space than we currently know what to do with. When there were initial setbacks after we demoed the room, they spent over 2 hours walking me through everything they'd discovered, what it meant, and how they intended to remedy it for the future. Byron and the rest of the on site team were respectful and kind, as well as good at their jobs. We ended up traveling quite a bit during the reno and I never felt nervous about leaving the team on site to work, and work never slowed down because Stasia and David did such a great job communicating with me along the way. We're already plotting our next job with the SF Craftsman team.

We own an older (116 years) Craftsman style home in San Francisco and it's been near impossible to find a contractor who understands how to keep the integrity of design while making the necessary updates and improvements. Then, we were lucky enough to meet David and Stasia and their Team from SF Craftsman Inc. We started with a long overdo bathroom remodel project - with Stasia coming up with a brilliant and unique redesign of the small space - that transformed our space into "another" room that is luxurious and spa-like but flows perfectly in design with our charming and classic home. Everyday, the Team arrived early, prepped and cleaned the entire work area, responded and addressed all of our needs or requests without hesitation and enthusiastically. David and the Team also "walked" us through all of the details of some of the more intricate electrical and plumbing work and arranged and managed all of the inspections and permits to ensure progress. They worked diligently each day knowing that the timeline was important - it is our only full bath - and completed the project a few weeks ahead of proposed schedule! SF Craftsman Inc just finished a second project for us - again, extraordinary and detailed work - and we are planning another larger project after the holidays. Honestly, we believe they have become our contractors for "life"! They are all dedicated professionals who love their work...
