The municipal transportation system of San Francisco is very diverse. Probably the most chosen of all is the Cablecar, an old system of trams, dragged by an underground cable, which is hidden under the pavement. These cars have the peculiarity of not own traction. What we enjoyed the most was watching them turn around in the terminal so they can leave again. In the stations you have to stand in line to go up and they charge you U $ S 7 per person, for the entire route. As we found out, the people who get on the road do not pay. That if you have to be lucky that there is room to climb. Normally in the journey, there are usually some places available in the stirrup of the wagon. Stirrups have a limited passenger capacity. It is a walk that is worthwhile to walk the steep streets of San Francisco, it is a kind of adventure. Ours, broke into Union Square, but it was a fantastic experience!...
Read moreUsing this system saved on a lot of money for my trip to San Francisco. I paid $33 for a 3 day MUNI pass and used the bus, streetcar, and cable cars to visit China Town, Japan Town, Golden Gate Park, Union Square, and Pier 39. It was a lot of fun taking the Powell Hyde Line from Union Square. MUNI bus stops are everywhere, so it is the best way to get around. You may encounter shady people, so I wouldn't recommend using it at night, however. When using the cable car system, don't stand in line. Find another cable car stop...
Read moreI loved this place and the views we had there, it was a one of a kind experience! The downsides were quiet annoying though.. We had to wait in the cold for around 1.5 hours, and then it took another 20 minutes in order for us to leave the place. It was very crowded and it took such a long time for the transit to leave. But! I loved the ride around the city and up the hill. Truly something you have to experience! Even though I loved the experience, I have to give it 3 stars due to the long...
