For our first night party before the wedding, Clint made me a bright green blazer that struck the balance between a bold splash of color and James Bond-worthy "shoot to kill" haberdashery. For the ceremony itself he helped me design a custom Loro Piana suit that instantly became the favorite thing in my closet. With my wedding coming up and it being such a special occasion i decided that i wanted my suit to be special and something that i will continue to wear forever. I am located in Reno however and there are very limited options for off the rack suit shopping and zero custom tailors. After meeting with a few vendors in San Francisco we found ourselves shaking hands with Clint at his shop just up the road from the Famous Buena vista pub and I cannot express how happy we are that we found “As You Are”!

Top line notes for those that don’t like to read are that i ended up with the exact suit I wanted and that looks absolutely fantastic and will hold up and grow with me. So bottom line is if you are in the Bay Area (or nearby) and want a custom suit, you would be remiss to not consider As You Are!

Some more detail: Clint is extremely patient and had a knack for helping bring my (very rough) idea of what i wanted into a solid design before he even took a measurement. He sat with my fiancé, future MIL and me for hours looking through fabrics and showing us examples of different fits and suit designs that he has already made to give me ideas or inspiration. From stitching variations to the buttons he could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful in designing it. A few scheduled fittings later and it looked perfect and the feeling of wearing my perfectly molded suit was indescribable.
