Dr Kathy Jang and her assistant Kay were just so nice!. I really like them and they do a nice job.

Update: I just went back in to see Dr Kathy to have my new teeth/crowns put in post implant posts. She made it so easy and painless, I was falling asleep. As always, D r Kathy and crew are the best.

Update 10.25.21 I have bad teeth. Broke another one eating Costco's free almonds. Dr Kathy was really good about squeezing me into her busy schedule. Well, it was a broken off crown. She pulled that tooth with painless dentistry. Again, Dr Kathy has superb skills and is still a really nice person; with a great supportive staff

Update 4.7.22 Dr Kathy again showed how dedicated she is to good dentistry. She had to fit 2 crowns on to implants side by side. Tight space tiny teeth. She was not over zealous but continued to work away until they fit within it's space and in conjunction with other teeth and 'partial'. Great job! Probably backed her up. But no quit in her. Steady, always doing it right. No pain. Thanks Dr Kathy

Update: 3.14.24 Dr Kathy had it easy today. First time in decades this fellow did not have to come back to fix a cavity, to pull a tooth or fix/replace a crown. With her guidance these reinforced,/replaced teeth are now strong enough to stand against further ravages of decay or trauma. No more crowbars or mattocks on these ivories.

Again. Dr Kathy has done a great job working on poor structural entities. She has referred me to other specialists as needed but over the years she was the substance of good dental care for me and mine. She has that light touch and much smaller fingers than her father. Thank you Dr Kathy's. 5 stars Yup!

8.27.24 I called in asking for an appt soon due to a developing toothache. It wasn't urgent but I creasing in sensitivity. I called back monday knowing it is worsening. Got an appt for Tuesday. Came in, X-ray and exam. Yup, got a cavity. Dr Kathy tried to drill it but the cavity is below extensive fillings. She even checked how strong the tooth was in case it might fall out anyway. Nope. Best not to aggravate the situation. She knew it was best for a root canal. So she filled up the hole for a temporary fix and referred me for a 'root canal'.

That's the thing with Dr Kathy. She knows what is the best in my behalf. No sense of causing a lot more pain, aggravation and expense. Better a referral out with a return for a crown and in my best interest. Yes. I continue to have great faith in this experienced and capable Dentist. 5 stars again. Still personable and and thotful. I've only had one negative experience with a dental hygienist, I believe her name was Thuy. I came for a 6 month routine teeth cleaning and she didn't really seem to do a good job. She quickly polished the surfaces of my teeth while also getting the paste all over my lip. I didn't feel as though my teeth were well cleaned as some parts were neglected. I was also scheduled for a mouth guard molding where they used a camera to take pictures of 3D impressions of my teeth. Thuy was also delegated this task but what was only supposed to be a quick scan ended up taking much longer. She wasn't fully competent on how to use the machine and needed to ask multiple people throughout the process. Likewise, she was too focused looking at the scanned image to notice how she was holding the camera in my mouth-- it was digging into my gums and lip to the point of being painful. When I let her know, she just continued to scan saying that she was almost done. Dr. Raymond Lee came back in and took over the rest of the scan.

Dr. Lee is extremely approachable, knowledgable, and friendly. When I was a new patient, he was thorough with his care and made sure to fit me into his schedule within a timely manner. The front desk employees are also helpful and courteous with scheduling future appointments and providing requested documents (FSA/HSA reimbursements). Overall, I would like to think that it was just one negative experience, but the rest of the staff...

I had an emergency tooth situation and needed to find a dentist that could take me ASAP. After calling multiple dentists and being told they didn't have any availability for weeks I called Jang & Associates, told them about my situation and they were able to take me in first thing the next morning. I'm so happy I found them. Everyone there was very nice and professional. The office was very clean and the equipment seemed up to date. The whole experience was pleasant considering it was something that wouldn't normally be a pleasant experience - 2 teeth extracted. They kept me informed of every procedure and how much it would cost. They were very personable and even humorous which I appreciate. I haven't had my own dentist in many years but I have found one now. I will definitely be going back for regular cleanings and check ups. I already have my next appointment with them for a consultation on more work as I need it. I never thought I'd say I'm looking forward to going to the dentist but I actually am. I can't wait to see my new friends at Jang...
