WenJing — Local services in San Francisco

I would like to provide feedback to Stephanie Tan of Wenjin on her great services. Our tour was in June 2025 to 5 cities in China. Stephanie spent a lot of efforts in helping us planning and organizing the 15 days private China trip in a span of a few months. She gave us a lot of information during planning, including how to apply for China Visa, what documents they possibly will ask for and how to fill out the application. She also provide a lot of valuable input on the logistic of the private tour in each city we are going to visit. She is very flexible and most importantly, very willing to work with us to get the planning of the trip to perfection. The price for the private tour is also very reasonable, in my opinion. We really appreciate it.

Also, we like the fact that it is a private tour, so we can SLIGHTLY (within reasons) rearrange the routes and the start time in each city. This flexibility is great when everyone is getting tired after the first week of travel.

In addition, there is a big advantage in dealing with WenJing locally vs booking through the internet internationally. You can talk to someone on the phone and not worry about international phone charge. You can call during day time since the time different is not as much as 15 hours. The terms that we use in the US, no matter speaking in Chinese or English, are the same, less chance of miss understanding. Most importantly, you will be paying a large sum of money in order for any agency to start booking your tour, especially including the international air tickets. I have more confident dealing with a local agency or at minimum, an agency that resides in the US. Wenjing is a pretty well known agency and appeared in the Chinese TV channel multiple times. In my opinion, it's more trustworthy.

About the tour: The first included dinner was amazing and very tasty, we all like it a lot. We are very please with may things, especially the quality of the hotels, the friendly, knowledgeable and responsible English speaking local guides in every city and the transportation arrangements - very comfortable shuttles. We joined Wenjing 14 days Dubai Egypt Trip on 5/2-5/15/23. They have 4 buses to accommodate over 100 people. Dubai has money and No history. Egypt has No money and 7000 years of history. Dubai has money to buy anything and Egypt has No money to buy anything. Dubai has many many architectural buildings within the last 40 years and Egypt has many many of archeological sites to excavate in the past hundred years. So I love Egypt. The Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx in Cairo are one of the Seven Wonders of the World is still standing strong in front of all our eyes. ABu Simbel is number one on my bucket list. It is located in the southern part of Egypt about 50 miles from North Sudan. See how we had travelled in Egypt. I really enjoyed seeing sunrise driving through the Sahara Desert. Buses and buses of tourists are way ahead of us. We had numerous sightseeing excursions and some of our elderly friends are exhausted. All Hotels accommodation are gorgeous and stunning landscapes surroundings. All Egyptian tour guides and salespeople speak excellent and fluent Mandarins. Speaking about food , I have to tell you the truth , we all Chinese has to say Chinese food is the best cuisine in the world. Arabic food is good too. The most fortunate thing about my trip to the Nine countries in Western Europe was that we had an excellent tour guide - Chen Fei. Not only was he very patient, meticulous and thoughtful, but he also introduced us to the local customs, history and culture, food … etc along the way. In order to ensure that every tourist in our group could get on the bus on time so as not to miss the original plan, he combined discipline with entertainment, which made most people respect others’ time and gain joys too. Because Mr Chen was very experienced, even if we kept encountering some unexpected incidents, he always found a way to complete the planned itinerary and let us see/experience as much as possible.
