TLDR: Exceptional service with the best value for your money.
I've visited multiple times for sports injuries or general discomfort, and they have always been professional and courteous. Their walk-on-back technique is the real deal—far better than any physical therapist or chiropractor sessions I've had. Whether you speak English or Mandarin, clearly communicate your needs, and they'll tailor the experience to meet your expectations.
Initially, I wanted to keep this gem to myself since appointment slots were filling up fast. However, seeing some of the overly critical reviews compelled me to set the record straight.
If I had to compare this to a restaurant experience, it’s not your average server dropping off food and refilling drinks. It’s more akin to an exclusive one-on-one omakase. You’re in a private room (covered by the base rate), and these skilled independent contractors dedicate a full hour of their craft to address your pain or discomfort. It’s similar to working with a personal trainer—they’re fully engaged and invested in your well-being.
Let’s talk about tipping:
10% = $4
20% = $8
Think about it—should a fast-food worker, who might mess up your order, earn more per hour than someone giving their undivided attention and skill to improve your body? Fast food workers make at least $20/hour now. In my opinion, that should be the minimum tip per hour for this kind of high-quality service.
Unless you find an automatic massage chair that can relieve your knots better for less (and please let me know if you do!), this place offers the most consistent and effective value you’ll find in all of...
Read moreI went here 2 days ago, spent $60 for a 90 mins massage, and being asked for $20 tips at the end.
I originally tipped the lady “Ada” $15 then she said it is not enough, at least $20, I told her that the amount of the tip should not be mandatory and $15 is already 25%. She said to my face that they are not restaurant and also she has been doing so much and well during the massage, her response really shocked me, cuz I thought a good massage is what I paid for and what should be expected. I ended up giving her another $5 to make it to $20, but I still think asking for tips almost 33% is not proper, and it really disappointed me at that point. If you want to charge a customer 33% tip, why don’t you just listed the massage price higher?? Any input will be appreciated if anyone wants to comment under this review and let me know I am...
Read moreI’ve been to V Spa only once, and although I firmly believe that writing a review should require a larger sample than one visit, I simply wanted to say that Wendy’s massage was as close to perfect as one gets. She listens and pays attention to your body’s responses, tailoring her touch, pressure, and routine accordingly. I’d be hard-pressed to offer any suggestions to improve on her technique.
With that said, if you’re looking for a more in depth assessment, Wei Chi Kao’s review sums up my albeit limited...
