This place has a very good place in my heart. I always visit the library to borrow books and dvds that are available from all the libraries in the Los Angeles county. It is best to visit when it is open first thing in the morning rather than later in the afternoon because students would come and make the space all crowded and noisy. Not that I would have a problem with that being an issue but it is overstimulating for an introvert like me. This library has becoming a...
Read moreMy gold standard for a public library is San Marino’s Crowell Library. The San Gabriel Library, sadly, pales in comparison to the many services offered at Crowell Library. Often times the small and cramped space of The San Gabriel Library gives a poor study environment and it’s quite often loud in this library as well. Overall it just seems a little bit underfunded, which is really a shame since libraries have cemented itself in history as a sacred environment for fostering intellectual development. I don’t think that the San Gabriel Library should have been a place the city decided to...
