Macy's — Local services in San Juan

Today I visited Macy’s at Plaza Las Americas with my wife. As usual, we spent sometime in the store purchasing at different departments. At 5 pm I went to the second floor to go to the restrooms which in the case of males you should use the family one. I arrived and immediately noticed that the restroom was locked. I knocked the door and a female voice answered that she was using it. Five minutes passed and never happened, fifteen minutes passed and the man behind me knocked the door and received the same answer. Half hour and the restroom remained locked, while the five men in line were really upset. About 40 minutes later we heard that the lock was unlocked from inside but no one left the restroom. I decided to knock the door, no one answered and I decided to open it fearing to find someone suffering a health situation. I was really impacted when I found a male of about 25 years old having sex with a lady that seems to be really young. The young lady left the restroom and the male looked at me and requested from me to keep waiting until he washes his hands. At that time I told the guy that the restrooms are not for that purpose. He cynically smiled and left the restroom with a confrontational body language. My wife told the experience to the lady at Dior’s counter and she explained that she would inform the security staff. Service is not up to the customer service standards. It is obvious that they are running short staff.

This week I went looking for a pair of shoes. 1st time I asked an employee for help, it took her 1/2hr to bring me the shoes, But I was shocked when I heard the lady next to me ask another employee for help and she told the customer "try to find a other employee because I already did my numbers for today. I was in shock.

I could not believe I have just hear her saying that to the customer. In the meantime, I was waiting for the 2nd pair of shoes to try on. It took 40 mins for her to being them.

Needless to say, I decided to leave and when I was leaving she came with the pair of shoes. I told her that at that point, I was no longer interested. I was shocked again when both employees laughed and gave me and attitude of " you don't want it, I don't care. Very disappointed...
