The only word I can use to describe Orbit Skates is divine! From the customer service to the plethora of trendy, on brand trinkets and piercing options, every inch of this building is absolutely wonderful. Keep reading to learn about the organization, customer service, piercing dexterity, and my overall personal experience in this shop. The exterior and interior of the store was creative and relative to the items sold. The outside store walls was painted with an abundance of graffiti style images and lettering. The interior had an overall dark theme with a multitude of shelves layering the store, filled with many items to explore. Though the space was small, one could get lost in the countless isles and items. Some of these items included glass enclosures filled with beautiful, copious amounts of piercings, hoodies, wonderfully scented, unique essential oils, vapes, keychains, sweatpants, eccentrically flavored drinks, socks, boxers, and the list goes on. However, aside from all these additional components, the fundamental focus of Orbit is the piercings, which I can confirm do not disappoint! I entered orbit with the intention of getting a nose piercing; although, I never gaged I would have such a pleasant experience. The staff and piercers were extremely welcoming and patient. I was quite stressed to get a piercing and took a long time to decide what exactly I desired. The owner, Sal, was incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful to me as I browsed through the store and pondered over what piercing to get. Additionally, the expertise who gave me my nose piercing was also extremely kind and gentle with me. Her name was Kaeleigh (I might have spelt that wrong), and she knew exactly what she was doing, as she has been a piercer for over 15 years! Her abundant knowledge was extremely useful in answering all my questions about piercings and how I should take care of mine. Furthermore, she did a fine job in piercing my nose. I decided on a nose ring, and she was extremely gentle and careful when piercing, making the experience almost pain-free! I walked out with a wonderfully done nose ring; I love my piercing! I also suppose the other piercers are extremely talented, as my sister had a pleasant experience with her ear piercing as well. Ultimately, the piercing, customer service, and the vast array of options raises my love for this store. Overall, I would most definitely recommend visiting Orbit Skate and Boutique. I wish there was a no star option because what I lived there was absolutely disgusting, I went there the other day with my Service Animal and got kicked out even though that’s illegal, I didn’t even get past the door when I was told to get out because pets aren’t allowed in their store, which I replied nicely that it was a Service Animal and not a pet, to which the employee “Shavon” stated that those were managers policy, I asked to speak to the manager and Shavon just came back with the store business card and left , I walked out and assumed the name and number of the manager was on the card and was not, I walk back in and asked Shavon why didn’t the manager come out and kicked me out with my service animal and said he didn’t know why and didn’t care, that any questions I had to call or email what was on the card, I asked for their names and also declined that info as well, I stood there and told him I wasn’t leaving with out any names because I am perusing a lawsuit against not only Orbit and it’s management but I am also suing Shavon as well because I informed him that it was illegal to decline services to Service Animal and a person with disabilities and said he personally did not care, sad that in 2025 basically this is still happening. I call to all Service Animal owners to not only do not shop here, let’s make our rights valued and validated.

Got my first piercing here, my only issue was the wait time and the prices being a bit high, If you come in 40 minutes before closing you probably wont get seen until after the store has closed and it could be me being paranoid but associates had seemed to be annoyed at us still waiting to be seen after that. UPDATE: I've gotten all my piercings from here and have had no problems aside from the wait being very long, originally but I noticed a day after having my vertical labret repierced that it was crooked, i thought at first maybe it was due to the barbell being curved or possible rejecting but it has healed just fine. had asked if it would be, and if so, would it be due to scar tissue before I got it redone, which I was told "no" with reassurance, it could have been because the person piercing me was very short and still had to reach up a bit to do it, I would have accommodated to make sure it came out straight.

My other issue is that they use externally threaded barbells rather than internally threaded, but I guess that is reasonable since it makes it easier to reinsert the piercing if you take it out after a few months.
