A short time ago my daughter’s mom and I reconnected after years of living separate lives and I knew I didn’t want to lose her for a 2nd time. It was early in our relationship but I wanted her to know how much I cared and that I was committed, but it was too soon for an engagement ring. I wanted to get her a promise ring (I know, at our age right? 😁) I was working out of town in San Luis Obispo Ca. and needed to find a jeweler where I could purchase a ring. After several visits to various jewelry stores I finally found a store where right away the staff helped me to feel very welcomed and comfortable, Rogers Jewelers. I had no idea what I was looking for but shortly after telling my story to Hailey, the young woman who greeted me, I had the 💍 (rose gold with an Amethyst stone accompanied by a couple of small diamonds) and it was a huge success! When I gave her the ring she cried and said she loved it. A few months had past and I wasn’t going to let her get away for a 2nd time, and once again I needed to find a jewelry store to find the perfect ring. This time is was a no brainer and without hesitation I went to Rogers jewelers in downtown San Luis Obispo and again was greeted right away by a gentlemen named Eason. Once again I had no idea what I was looking for and after looking through several cases full of beautiful diamond rings I couldn’t make a decision. The help and suggestions I received from Eason after wearing him down was incredible, he never rushed, or gave up on me. I was so undecided and just wasn’t sure what I wanted and actually made a couple more visits back to Rogers before Eason and I designed the ring that I wanted. Again, the help and the patience I received from Eason was incredible, he made me feel like family. The ring finally arrived and I wanted the proposal to be special, or as special as it could be during a pandemic. My options were limited but Once again with Eason’s help we devised a plan to propose right there at Rogers the next time my lady came to visit. We have a song that I knew she would recognize that would be playing on the stores sound system, we had a bottle of Dom, with specially engraved glasses waiting for just the right moment, I was very nervous and then it happened... she said yes! From start to finish my experience with Rogers jewelers and their staff was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better...
Read moreIt was a pleasure working with Connor, and we will definitely work with him again! We collaborated on a custom opal ring, and we couldn't have asked for a better end result. We are very happy with how the ring turned out. It's exactly as we imagined it...maybe even better. The only reason for the four star rating instead of five is our interactions with others at Rogers Jewelry Co. If we were only rating Connor, without question, our rating would have been five out of five stars. He was very good at communicating with us, and in our discussions with him, we always felt heard. This wasn't our experience with other Rogers employees.
The communication with the designer, Dave, was cumbersome. After our initial in-person meeting, we didn't hear from him for three months. This was over the holidays, so we were understanding, but we often felt like we were the ones who had to take the initiative to keep the ball rolling. Also, everytime I added Connor to the CC list, Dave would reply instead of reply all, and drop Connor out of the loop. We definitely achieved most of our communication through Connor, both in person and via text message, but the overall communication between all three parties felt a bit disjointed. We also had to iterate a few times on his designs, despite the fact that we were trying to replicate a ring that already existed, and that we provided to him; initially just images, and then the actual ring in-hand. Ultimately, we wrote a very detailed email with multiple annotated photos of his 3D mockups next to the original to describe exactly where his design differed from the original in ways that were important to us, and after that...
Read moreWe have been a loyal customer of Rogers Jewelry since back in 1998 when it was still in the Valley Plaza. When Eason told us he would be leaving the Bakersfield store to manage the new store opening in San Luis Obispo we were soo excited for him. Eason is not just an employee of Rogers. Eason takes the time to know his customers and what they like and don’t like we feel like we are family with him. He helped my husband create the most beautiful wedding ring for me and takes notes when we are in waiting to get something cleaned or fixed, and will keep it on our file to help my husband out with future purchases which helps him a lot, he also sends reminders about our anniversary date and my birthday. Eason has gone above and beyond for my husband and I. We will not purchase any jewelry from anyone other than Eason at Rogers. We recently visited Eason at his new store and while there we upgraded my wedding set and I had it back the same day!! It is a beautiful new store and we will be visiting Eason a lot there!! Great customer service and quality!! He always knows just what I want, there aren’t very many people that will go above and beyond for a customer and not just for the bottom line. It’s a short drive to get this type a customer service and it’s...
