There really needs to be more stars for the geek squad! On Monday, May 19, I found out that my computer had been hacked and locked. I went to my bank because I found out that my financials have been compromised so I had to get a new debit card, new credit cards, etc. My bank told me that I could not have access to online banking, which I do every single morning, Until they have proof from a professional that there is no malware on my laptop. I took my laptop this morning to the geek squad in San Marcos and they told me it could be 2 to 4 days. I work from home and absolutely need my laptop. This afternoon I may do with my iPhone. Then I get this wonderful text about 630 telling me I can come pick up my laptop, it’s done! Read moreCame in today asking about a battery replacement for my ASUS laptop and met a middle-aged, Indian looking dude at the front counter with glasses and a bald head. He told me that they do not sell the batteries, which I perfectly understood. So I asked the TECH EXPERT to help me find the battery online since I couldn't find it the night before. He kept saying the same thing about how they do not sell the battery (which again, I understood), and I kept repeating the fact that I just need help finding the resellers that do sell them.
I have a feeling that he knew he was able to help me find the battery, and he simply refused to help me. No one else was in line , so I would have been a bit more understanding if there was a line of people that actually needed repairs, but it was just me.

I learned to live without it instead. Now the computer won't boot at all, but I can't drop it off because I don't have an appointment.
